I saw a bond that was really balanced in Sailor Moon S, which is what you're describing to me. After watching Michiru battle the Type Zero Daimon (and get seriously injured in the process) is the moment she decided to become stronger and fight for the same cause. Haruka made the choice to utilize the transformation stick. To protect the world, most of all, her world. Michiru.

In Stars, I think they made Hachiru seem a bit one-sided for fanservice sake. Then you witness the events of episode 198 (?),

That shows how balanced the relationship really was, but when it comes to comedy moments, Michiru wears those pants and wears them good. 8)

Stars definitely brought out the humor in the two of them. I think after S they were just like: okay-nao that they've got all their 'issues' out of the way, let's so the whimsical side of them! Stars definitely brought out the humor in the two of them. I think after S they were just like: okay-nao that they've got all their 'issues' out of the way, let's so the whimsical side of them! It's fun to show how embarrassed Haruka gets, especially after seeing the other sides of her. Not to mention all the "bed" jokes that began to surface out of the blue. Even after a Nehelenia Mirror Parody knocks Haruka off a building, holding onto Michiru for dear life, they bring up the bed talk. Honestly a lot of Moonies are split between whether Haruka and Michiru were jerks or just looking out for Earth's best interest. I would agree with Hachiru's actions if it were anyone else, but they were arguing with Usagi Tsukino. Sailor freakin' Moon, the Babe Ruth, Bruce Lee, Hulk Hogan, Michael Jordan, etc etc of the entire series! Whether protecting Hotaru was risking the fate of the planet against Pharaoh 90 and the Deathbusters, Usagi did the right thing in the end. Not to mention laid the smackdown on Hachiru, just to throw salt in the wound. :3 Regardless of this, Haruka and Michiru did what they thought was right. Characters who are passionate about their beliefs are the reason why anime/manga is the greatest form of entertainment. So keep on wearing the pants and asking hot celebs like Seiya Kou to help you undress, Michiru, because that's what makes you AWESOME!

Could be! Rei and Minako's relationship was obviously more vague than Hachiru's, but you could practically feel the sexual tension between them in certain scenes. :) The episode where they're on that game show, there's a scene where they just start laughing. They were having such a great time together that I expected Minako to spontaneously kiss Rei. >///<

My favorite episode in PGSM? XD Don't make me choose, Deppy-chan!!!! *thinks* I can only narrow it down to two. My most favorite episode would have to be when Keiko Rei realized that Minako had...you know. ;_; Keiko Kitagawa's acting was at an all time high in that scene.

As a funny episode, it would have to be when Makoto debuted. Usagi, Rei and Ami thought it would be a good idea to play basketball...dressed like this:

I <3 . I've been a dedicated Moonie since '99. It and Pokemon were my first anime (that I knew was anime) I watched. I didn't get into DBZ until '00-'01 when I got Cartoon Network. I was really into those three back in middle and early high school. Good ol' days. :D

I got back into the series after watching the whole thing subbed in college. I was reminded of how great, fun, and warm-harming, and seeing it in its original intended language. I was reminded of how epic each final battle were when viewing (namely Season 1 final, Pharaoh 90/Usagi holding baby Hotaru, and the final Galaxia battle). All were nicely paced, though the Galaxia one did kinda drag but I can excuse it for being the final battle in the series. ^_^

My favorites in the series were always Minako, Rei, Makoto, Hotaru, Setsuna, Artemis, Seiya, Chibiusa (mainly only in S and SuperS due to her friendship to Hotaru and Helios) and of course Usagi! Though, I do appreciate the entire cast through the good and bad times.

My favorite seasons: Hard to say. I've always favored the Classic, S and Stars seasons. I do like R, and SuperS wasn't bad (I'll take SuperS over any crappy anime filler that gets put out these days!).

I do enjoy the manga and appreciate how kickass and powerful the girls are in it. Take that, hater fanboys.

Haven't seen much of the musicals. I'll get around to it during the SM comeback. The live action series was pretty cool (being a lover of Power Rangers/Sentai/Toku made me appreciate it for what it was). The Abridged series is hilarious and love their playful jabs at the old dub. XD

I can't wait to purchase the new, retranslated manga next month! Me and my fanfic pal have preordered our copies. ^_^

A wall scroll, a school binder, a deck of cards, and other nifty merchandise are gonna be released soon. Gotta get those goodies! I'm really happy to see those t-shirts on Hot Topic. And they're selling out! OMG! They're selling out online and on site locations! :affraid: SM is coming back strong, and the anime hasn't even been released yet in America!

I do wonder, who will take the honors of getting the anime license? Hope it's Funimation. I commend them for dubbing Dragonball right (for once) with DBZ Kai, and trust they will handle my beloved Sailor Moon well. If it's them, a redub is guaranteed (they said it so if they got it!). I wouldn't mind Bandai either, but I think FUNi is the one company who can afford it. Then, when that happens, we get our dvds and possibly get it back on TV. Let the kiddies have their tv edit and us older fans can watch our uncut dvds!

Yeah, I think this is just the beginning phase of our beloved Moon Princess' return in America. 2011-2012 will mark the comeback of Sailor Moon. Bet your ass on it.

FUNi would promote Sailor Moon like the plague. The honor should belong to them; especially now that they're a more polished dubbing company than they were in the Dragon Ball Z/GT days. With the manga making their return next month in addition to Hot Topic releasing merchandise, I believe they're saving the anime for last. The era of DiC/Cloverway will be nothing but a memory since you hear "I'm USAGI Tsukino" in English. That moment will be historic and hopefully voice actress Laura Bailey will be reading that line.

;3 Short skirts are responsible too. I have every screen caps of Keiko-sama's panty shots throughout the series. <3 Hai! Totally a ReiMina episode; and intentional the way they got along so well. It went beyond just the "we're such good friends" feel, the playful and tender chemistry was more like two girls in love and that's all I ever wanted. <3

XD PGSM needed a higher budget, yes. To defend it a bit, I've never seen a Sentai with good effects anyway, so we're asking for the impossible. XD

As a whole, Sailor Moon is my childhood. It wasn't Turtles or Power Rangers, both are one-dimensional from my adult perspective. Sailor Moon remains strong with it's characters and storyline to me from 1994 to 2011. Casual fans are usually never mesmerized by an animated series for that long. It takes a special kind of series to do that.

Setsuna Meioh (Sailor Pluto) left quite an impression on me when I first read the manga. I never cried while reading manga, except for that one time. Powerful moment in the mix of Naoko Takeuchi's even more powerful artwork.

My fondest dream in the Sailor Moon universe is a version of PGMS for America. Like-a WELL MADE American Live-Action version of Sailor Moon. With the CGI of today it wouldn't look so cheesy, and there would be a strong support base behind it. I mean, they could do it right, and someone could make a load of money off of merchandise.

Or at least a localization of one of the musicals. Sera Myu in America? DO WANT. I'd see it. AND audition for it.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon had great performances and a story resembling the manga's to fall back on, so the effects never bothered me in the long run. Nor did the toy props.

Nevertheless, Sailor Moon is a winning franchise that can easily make money at box office or theater. Look at the Glee franchise's jump to 3D recently, the same could apply to one of the biggest names to ever come out of Japan.

And about the clothing line, I was at the mall this past weekend and two girls, that I never would of pictured as Moonies, picked up the new shirts and raved about how much they missed this show. The one on the right who looked older included "It's about time!" Yeah, no shit!

But Sera Myu is a definitely possibility. Broadway is always taking shows from the West End and other parts of the Europe to show off, and Sera Myu? With those shiny, poofy skirts and ridiculous antics? It just screams family musical. SCREAMS IT. I can see it being adapted to an American stage for an American audience easily. (Sure, some of the puns with names and jokes might have to change, but you an easy switch those for jokes familiar or funny to English speaking audiences.)

:) Certain jokes will definitely need to be changed for American audiences, just as long as they aren't replaced by something too stupid. For example, in the anime, Sailor Iron Mouse offers a riddle to Galaxia that went like this: "A pig chef and a horse chef compete at making Tonkatsu. Which chef wins?" I doubt American audience will catch on with those types of jokes/references.
