Does caring branch off from hatred, or does hatred branch off from caring? In order to hate someone, you have to at least acknowledge their existence, and hating means you at least feel something for them. But in order to care for someone, you have to know they exist, but what if you hate their existence? Never once liked them in the first place? What then?

I'm being existential again... o-o

Well, as you said, if you hate someone you have to at least care about their existence, because if you didn't care, they wouldn't stir up any hatred. Caring about someones existence can be either positive or negative, if them being there is having an effect on you, then you care about them existing.

So to me, hatred branches of from caring. Though it could easily be switched around too.

There's a fine line between love and hate... I don't even words. *hugs you* And I, for one, find that in order to truly hate someone you've got to love them on some level. But if you have cared about someone, ever, and you can't seem to hate them... you don't just feel 'nothing' or... I dunno. I'm not use to others asking questions like this.

Mai Hime and Mao Hime both has the end words from the 'ま' ma column, hence why they're classified under that. On western case, it's classified by alphabets ^^

Lol, google translator isn't reliable for japanese xDD It's as bad as babelfish >83 use online japanese dictionaries, it's harder but it's not as crazy as google translator.
