Who was the real mashiro?

I had a thought today about the real Mashiro Kazahana. In both the manga and the anime, the Mashiro we know of is actually the Mashiro of the past Carnival but if that is so, who was the other Mashiro?

The other Mashiro is the doll which Fumi is controlling. The one who reincarnated the other HiMEs was the Mashiro of the past Carnival.

Basically, yes. She never died. It happens that she was encased in a crystal and she had this fate to be immortal... It was just a very close guess, seeing it from the confrontation of the Mashiro doll and the Obsidian Lord.

Mashiro is always Mashiro. The only thing that changes is which body she uses.

Other than that, the only thing really consistent about her is that she always makes no sense.
