I just remembered that in Sifr. Lena calls the little Tweety Alyssa birs: ARTEMIS. And summons her and it fusions with her robe, making her extemely powerful. (Her power is over 9000!!)
So the birdie wasn't only for Miyu's use but for Lena's too...

What's the meaning of this?

Or maybe the birdie was in reality a CHiLD...but was modified somehow. So instead of being that huge beyblade it ended up as a birdie.
And with the modifications given, only those with Alyssa's blood could summon it and fusion with it. But since it's like a secret well kept, Arika didn't know, despite her grandma told her every other useless thing....
