I'm feeling accomplished. Considering my writer's block, it's a miracle I made it out of NaNo with 50,039 words as my final word count. I'm also feeling a lot better than I was feeling yesterday, mostly from my NaNo victory. I managed to win with less than 10 minutes until midnight.

You got that right, Luu! This is probably my favorite current game right now. I've been streaming a lot of it. And am hoping to do more streaming tonight. :3

Re: The Ima no Kimochi wa nani?! or What are you feeling RIGHT NOW?! PART 10!
Incoming Essay. I want to kind of elaborate on my daily feelings today. From the moment I awoke out of sleep, to the moment within the present-time right now.
When I had just woken up, I felt rested. And was wiling to do a lot of footwork around my home town, which I ended up doing. Felt good about delivering a Thank You Card to my Educational Instructors who got me through the program last year up until May 31st of this year.
As the day went on, and evening began to set, I noticed myself feeling more and more spaced out. I went out with my parents and my older sister to do some Christmas shopping for the kids, but I found myself feeling almost delirious out in the middle of those chaotic shopping environments.
Now there use to be a time I couldn't see through these space outs with a "scientific-eye" as I like to call it. I use to think it was just me who was experiencing it. And it made me really freaked out to believe that. The truth is, a lot of people actually experience the chaotic feelings of super busy shopping environments over the Holidays. For me to think that it was just felt inside my head, was both foolish, and selfish, combined!
I started feeling a little salty though because the deliria was causing me to not get things done while out shopping. Rather, it made me feel as if I was just there. I don't think my night perked up until I took the initiative to buy both my parents and my older sister a container of Quality Street Chocolates.
It seems the only way to break out of he haze sometimes is to just smash through it with the power of the will. The word I like to use is Initiative. That's really what it takes! Just saying... I'm in control of my mind, no matter how confused it may feel at the time due to overstimulation.
Needless to say, well, not necessarily needless, I guess lol, I ended up getting into the Mai-Otome OVAs again after getting home, and have been feeling a lot more relaxed and clear. I found my greatest weapon against unpleasant feelings has always been the ability to identify where they are coming from, and what their causes are. Without that "scientific eye" it can be really painful to experience things that seem to be nothing but outrageous!

I'm feeling excited right now. After years of struggling to teach myself how to draw and failing every time due to not knowing on which basics to focus first, I'm going to attend an art course for beginners that starts in mid-February. I can't wait to have a tutor and learn stuff. I can see myself drawing ShizNat fanart down the line some day!

Festive! Happy Holidays to everyone here!
This sounds exciting! I hope you find it productive (and not just because I want to see that fanart...).Moneypenny wrote:I'm feeling excited right now. Congratulations, Moneypenny! Haven't seen you in forever! Like Akamanto said, I'm hoping you find productivity in the course. Tons of ShizNat works is just the beginning! Once you find yourself as a capable artist who loves what she's doing, a door of infinite possibilities shall open.

Is "done" an emotion? Well, it should be, because I feel done.

Re: The Ima no Kimochi wa nani?! or What are you feeling RIGHT NOW?! PART 10!
Feeling pretty good! This has been one of the warmest days in a long time! 80 degrees in February (on the East Coast) is pretty damn bizarre. Not complaining, though!
Re: The Ima no Kimochi wa nani?! or What are you feeling RIGHT NOW?! PART 10!
Both good and bad...
Well, for the good: finally got some few hours to dedicate to cleaning up some prose, and I think I might be getting close to something postable for Destiny. I noticed a bunch of awkward phrasing in the middle half that's really snaggling me, but other than that, it's mostly just finding a way to string it all together. Songs are so much easier than prose! But, even though it's difficult, it's also extremely productive. I feel like I understand Japanese and its interaction with English a lot better already.
For the bad: I was taking a look through the artbooks to see the commentaries on the free sketches, and... all of the interesting stuff is almost illegible! There's a bit where Shizuru talks about her dad, and I can't even read it! What the heck! Why couldn't it've been typed?! For real! ૮( ᵒ̌▱ᵒ̌ )ა

Really?! If only I could mail you all my winter, Akamanto! Especially right now with the Nor’easter sweeping across my state! >3< I blame Alyssa-chan and her love for making snowmen.

Maybe it worked! There's been quite a lot of snow over the past two weeks... Although it's cold, I've certainly not been complaining! Helps that I don't drive, too. Snow on the roads doesn't bother me. ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_Luu Sky Sapphire wrote: Really?! If only I could mail you all my winter, Akamanto! No you see they had contracted right to sell my merchandise because I sold it to them (I sold a bunch of my stuff due to reasons I'd rather not dwell upon again to a thrift store in my hometown.) Because anime merchandise is not overly popular where I live... There's only a population of like 140,000 where I'm from, so they put up the stuff I sold to them for an even less expensive price than what they are worth on online anime shops like Amazon.ca. I was able to recover 11 anime's for 176.00 that would have easily cost me over 600.00 online.
Edit: I'm feeling a little woozy and light headed tonight. Doesn't help that I got a bit of a cold. But days like this are still really good for the amount of anime/gaming I can digest. :D

I feel at peace. But I probably should attribute that to the fact that I'm still half asleep from just waking up lol.

Re: The Ima no Kimochi wa nani?! or What are you feeling RIGHT NOW?! PART 10!
I'm feeling a little more confident these days, especially when it comes to my activities (more so than my social life lol) but I feel I need to experience the in-dependency of travel-ling to something like an anime convention. The only thing I am lacking right now is confidence to travel long distance on my own. Not that I even have any real reason right now to travel, but I'm feeling like if I took a leap like that it would really do a lot for my confidence. But right now it's just up in the air. I also feel like I want to meet like minded people that have love for anime, manga, and games, outside of the online world. Ultimately I just feel like I want to gain more social confidence and make more friends.

Feeling great! I have finally set a date for a certain rewatch. Stay tuned for an official announcement tonight...
Re: The Ima no Kimochi wa nani?! or What are you feeling RIGHT NOW?! PART 10!
Emotionally, I have no idea. In general, I'm tired and hungry at the same time. This is a terrible combination, but if I took a nap, I'd probably feel worse afterward. I'll probably just lay down until I feel more awake or something.
