Just got done watching episodes 14, 15, 16 and 17 of Kill la Kill. If I had to write reviews for all four, we'd be here all day. So much has happened within the time frame of these episodes, so I'll just get right down to the nitty gritty:
- The entire School Raid was just insane!
- Even though most of the fights in Kill la Kill are one-sided, it's always a pleasure seeing Ryuko and Lady Satsuki fight. They ALWAYS have a great match together; so much aggression and passion behind each strike and scream. They're the only ones who put on a great show during the comedic School Raid Trip, despite leaving devastating results in Osaka.
- Oh Mako! XDDDDDD You cracked me up hard during your own little raid of Osakan food and souvenirs! And her impression of a Xenomorph had me in Life Fiber stitches:
- The origin of the Life Fibers was explained through exposition provided by Aikuro and Ragyo. We learn that they're really space aliens and they orignate from a giant primordial Life Fiber ball that Ragyo has locked up.
- Nudist Beach is revealed...let's just stop there.
- Lady Satsuki organizes an event at Honnouji Academy called the "Cultural and Sports Grand Festival" in Ragyo's honor. Ragyo says it'll be the greatest sacrifice of innocent people to the Life Fibers.
- Lady Satsuki fatally wounds her mother Ragyo and announces her own rebellion against her cause.
As you can see, shit got real. Episode 18 is next (nowhere to be found on cyber12 or Crunchyroll yet...) and I'm praying that Nui is next on the hit list. Ryuko and Lady Satsuki have a common enemy, but what we will happen next? Ragyo appears to be alive in the previews, so I know we're going to have another revelation. Please let the show admit that Ryuko and Lady Satsuki are sisters! COME ON! YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE, DAMMIT!
---
As a bonus, although I don't like Ragyo (any murder who mentors another murderer in Nui, doesn't deserve my respect), the purification scene with Lady Satsuki was.... ....to say the least:
SO WRONG. SO RIGHT~~~~~~
Ep 18 is only available in the Raw version right now, but golly gee wilikers it was crazy (i'm trying real hard not to spoil anything man, but damn, it was just so and at the same time)
Also, my faith in Satsuki cementing her character into my favorites list has truly happened. ALL HAIL KIRYUUIN SATSUKI-SAMA!

Luu Sky Sapphire reviews Kill la Kill Episode 18:
The 18th installment of Kill la Kill opened the doors to the past, revealing something that made me sick to my stomach. To it's credit, it also revealed what I've been calling since episode 2. With Ragyo defeated and impaled, is the day saved at last? The more I think about it, everything that led up to this moment surrounds Lady Satsuki; not Ryuko. Ryuko is actually playing second fiddle in this episode as Lady Satsuki unveils her rebellion scheme to her mother's face. She even reveals a shocking secret from the past; Ragyo had been using Lady Satsuki for Life Fiber experiments. When the experiments with her failed, she planned to use her unborn child for the next experiment. When the results didn't change, Ragyo had the baby discarded and killed...*ahem* And I thought Nui was a bad. They're both monsters, but how can a mother do that? Ragyo is a sick f*ck.
Lady Satsuki drops another bombshell by telling her that the Life Fiber origin ball is about to be neutralized by her crew. Now I kid you not, Ragyo doesn't die from her fatal injuries! Not even when Lady Satsuki cuts her head off with Bakuzan! Ragyo proves to be a force of nature by not only having the ability to control anyone with a trick called "Mind Stitching", she is able to regeneration as long as a single scrap of thread skin remains. She quickly makes short work of Lady Satsuki. I've never seen Lady Satsuki get womanhandled like this before. It's bad enough that the Elite Four are getting their asses handed to them by an interfering Nui, but Ryuko does deliver a crowd-pleaser I'll never forget. By achieving perfect synchronization with Senketsu, Ryuko gets the upper hand on Nui. I'll be honest here, the real reason why Ryuko could never touch Nui before is because her rage blinded her. Something Nui called her out on several times. By letting go, forming a bond of trust with Senketsu, she got the best of Nui with ease.
Serves you right, bitch. Soon, you will die. Soon.
Did I mention that Ragyo uses Mind Stitching on Ryuko, but it's quickly undone in a major "holy shit!" moment as Ryuko cuts the stitches tied to her brain....somehow?! The climax leaves all our heroines in the worst shape of their careers. The COVERS fill the skies, Ragyo tosses Lady Satsuki away like a piece of garbage, she wears Junketsu for herself, Ragyo pulls Ryuko's heart out like Mola Ram and confirms my long time suspicion. You ready for this everybody? REMEMBER! I CALLED IT!
Ryuko and Lady Satsuki are sisters. Do I regret the fact that I shipped them? NOPE! Incest yuri is becoming more widely accepted lately, haha! Overall, Kill la Kill episode 18 delivered on so many levels. I'm half disappointed that my suspicion was realized, but seeing the show hand all the audience hatred and main villain status to Ragyo made it watchable. Ragyo is truly one of the most evil characters I've ever had the displeasure of knowing. From a story telling perspective, she is very effective. There's nobody more monstrous than a mother who is willing to kill her own family for selfish gain. Not to mention the genocide of billions. All because of fascination with alien shirts and sweatpants. What do I want? The death of Nui, Lady Satsuki wields the other half of the scissor blade and finally, her and Ryuko team up to destroy Ragyo for good. Hey TRIGGER, make it a satisfying death that I can rewind endlessly.
+ Lady Satsuki is the main protagonist after all! Think about it...
+ The flashback made Ragyo a bigger villain than Nui
+ Nui finally gets owned!
+ Intense
-/+ Felt like a prelude to a final episode. They should of saved this for last...prove me wrong in the remaining 7 episodes.

I totally understand, Mi-Cray! Ragyo is a hideous piece of trash, but you know what? It won't be long until she gets hers. I'm gonna call it right now! Ragyo will be consumed by Junketsu. :) The cliche "irony" villain end.
*laughs* "Believe in the me who believes in the you who believes in mi verga!" HAHAHAHAHA! Kill la Kill's ridiculous content is perfect for parody!

Is episode 19 out yet? I'm super anxious to watch the next episode, even though it's supposed to focus on the Elite Four and honestly...I don' care for them that much. They're the bathroom break characters for me, but maybe we'll get some Mako antics to make up for it.

Re: Kill la Kill Discussion Thread
Luu Sky Sapphire reviews Kill La Kill Episode 19:
Kali Maaaaa!!!
Kali Maaaaa!!!
I'm convinced that the series has transitioned from action anime to space invasion anime! The Covers have taken over, absorbing the people to become more powerful! This is where we left off with the previous episode, only now Lady Satsuki ends with a bang. Literally. I have to warn you all that this will be my short review for the series. After the explosive introduction, we get a series of exposition we kind of already knew. It's mixed with the Elite Four pulling double duty to rescue as many people as possible. Noble, but it takes up a lot of time.
I'll kill you, bitch!
Oh...
~Be Nice~
(
What happens next is a series of funny sequences with the Elite Four joining forces with Nudist Beach. With whatever power they have left, The Elite Four rescue many people all over Japan and Aikuro vomits some exposition here and there. A device is made to extract the human host from the Covers, although it can only be done one at a time. Things always have to be done the hard way! There was a cute scene between Mako's mother and Senketsu that had me in tears. The more we get to know Senketsu, the more human he acts. He gets all smitten with Mako's mother and her tenderly kindness. This is why I don't understand why Mako gets all pissed at the end, but to be fair, she was unconscious.
The real exposition happens between Ragyo and a recovered (and nekkid) Lady Satsuki in chains. Ragyo reveals something I kind of guessed myself; that Satsuki's father, Soichiro, faked his death in order to secretly raise Ryuko to kill Ragyo someday. From that day on, Soichiro became Isshin with his crooked Silas Barnaby spine and beard. The rest is history. I like how this series reveals another jigsaw piece in each episode, but I'd like to think most of us saw these revelations from miles away. Oh yeah, while Ragyo is explaining all this to a clearly pissed off Lady Satsuki, she is caressing and slapping her butt hard. TRIGGER...you gave me two different emotions here. From a yuri perspective, the spanking was so hot. From a story perspective, it was sickening to see a mother do this to her daughter. Taunting of the highest magnitude. Nui makes an appearance later on, it seems she's sewing together the ultimate Kamui....
I won't lie...Lady Satsuki's ass is perfect for spanking. ;A;
The climax of Kill la Kill's 19th episode is another box of ACME dynamite when irritating noises caused by the Covers awaken a raging Ryuko; destroying them all with ease. Senketsu comes to her aid, but after everything she learned about being a Life Fibers lab rat, she refuses Senketsu and tells him that she will never wear him again. Believing she herself is a monster like his kind. "Poor Senketsu," I thought. Again, very little happened in the episode which is disappointing, but I do like the comedy they were able to squeeze in (
Did baby Ryuko just do the :3 face while sucking her thumb?! XDDDD
+ Spanking scene. I'm not sorry.
+ Senketsu becomes more and more likable every time I see him.
- Very little happens
- Unnecessary flashback
- Gamagoori all hot for Mako is unsettling.

That scene with Satsuki made me want to throw up and punch the screen, just so f*cking nasty Dx
I like this ep though, and boss Ryuuko with super saiyan hair at the end was very boss indeed
But here's my parody of that last line:
"That's right, I'm not human. I'm just a rabbit monster!"
Sorry, couldn't resist, its just too funny with Ami's sexy voice acting (and I don't know how she can growl out her lines sometimes as either Ryuuko or Shirley, but its just so: )

Re: Kill la Kill Discussion Thread
Late comer here~~
I wasn't all that excited for Kill la Kill. At all in the beginning! But a fortunate series of events made me keep on watching it, and then all hell broke loose at the same time!!! And all hail Satsuki!
This show has the coolest plot twists ever!! So deliciously taboo!!
And baby Satsuki...
And while the last episode was boring (I now enforce a CLOTHES ARE OPTIONAL policy in my house though), someone needs to explain to me why Ragyu insists on molesting Satsuki... seriously! We get it, she's hot, now stop!! (at the beginning I thought it was to ascertain her dominance, now I'm just confused! It's like her plaything! I actually love these villains... They don't keep it lame for the children and act like a real life criminal.)
Gamagoori and Mako... Yes, I'm on board with that! 4 dildos out of 5
The fack... was with Satsuki's toe nail??
Senkentsu TT.TT LET ME HUG YOU!!!
And the lack of my show's OTP was depressing...

Re: Kill la Kill Discussion Thread
I finally decided to watch Kill La Kill! Am caught up on the entire show, too! I thought I was going to hate the show, since I had a bit of a bad impression during the first few episodes, but within time I grew to actually like it! It's the sort of same reaction when I saw Panty & Stocking
How I decided to finally watch the show, it's because Nagi showed me the most awkward of awkward Kill La Kill scenes, and blahblahblah, I researched it, saw that some seiyuus I like are in the show, so I decided to give it a shot. Was worth it XD

Hell yes, the day it happens we should just have a giant discussion and celebration on this thread about it, while spamming pictures of the screenshots of her corpse
Re: Kill la Kill Discussion Thread
Ragyo can never die! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
j/k. It's only a matter of time before Ryuko and Lady Satsuki get their hands on her and the Covers invasion. But I still predict that Ragyo will be consumed by her own custom made, ultra powerful kamui in the end. The irony death.
