Forgive my paranoia of making threads that are probably unnecessary, but share which last movie you recently saw :3 Or you could post more than 1. Whichever you prefer
From my knowledge, I recall recently watching Amelie, Across the Universe and Nightwish's Imaginaerum
---
Edit:
Thread may include movies you plan on seeing in the future.

As I mentioned elsewhere, Amélie is amazing! <3
Last movie I watched was sadly Superman III. I'm on a Superman movie marathon at the moment. Before that was Supergirl: Apocalypse over the weekend. Second best DC Animated Film! (1st being Wonder Woman).

Mummy Returns!
It's one of my fav movies. Rachel Weisz is amazing and young!Arnold Vosloo is pretty good lookin as a dang mummy xD
The sequel after that makes me cry, Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li aside...

X3 Mummy Returns. If only it wasn't ruined by a CGI scorpion with Dwayne Johnson's (when he weighed about 200 steroid pounds less...) face on it.

On topic: Gremlins 2: The New Batch was on the second I got home. A sequel much better than the first. The first was great, but the second took advantage of the goofiness of the first Gremlins by making it a comedy-parody sequel. The only other film who did this nicely was Short Circuit 2.

Just saw the Great Gatsby. It was an ok film I've seen better Dicaprio films, including Titanic Inception

Saw Star Trek Into Darkness last night with my family. It was OK.

I heard it sucked from the Star Trek purists. I was never a hardcore Star Trek fan, but I did love the Wrath of Kahn, Search for Spock and The Voyage Home. Very good films.
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
Most Trek purists don't give the new movies some credit. I've been a Trekkie since I was 3 years old, but I usually give everything new to Star Trek a chance. The only thing related to Star Trek I never liked were Star Trek Enterprise and Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Those were the only things related to Star Trek that I did not like.Luu Sky Sapphire wrote:SulliMike23 wrote:Saw Star Trek Into Darkness last night with my family. It was OK.

Or new in general. You have quite the open mind for newer films. The 2009 (?) Star Trek was okay, just nothing to write home about to me. Seeing Leonard Nimoy in the film was nice.
@Thread:
I finished watching all the Superman films during a recent marathon:
Superman
Superman II
Superman III
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
Superman Returns
Superman and Superman II are such tough acts to follow, Man of Steel will need to surpass expectations by leaping tall buildings in a single bound. Henry Cavill...eh. We'll see. Christopher Reeve? LEGEND.

Something else I need to get off my chest regarding the new Star Trek film.
Alice Eve is gorgeous actress. Damn. :)

How many scenes is she in, anyway? I'm tempted to rent the film just for ripping of all Alice's scenes.
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
Just watched Finding Nemo with Koi, Rawrr and Wolf-of-Wind XD :3

I seriously cannot wait for Finding Dory. Ellen's dream has come true! o>3<o
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
I actually can't remember.......... But J says it's probably Kyss Mig, which was good and had some really really great scenes. I had problems to get into the movie in the beginning though (so did J, sense the reason she still hasn't finished it, PFFFFFFFFFFF). Anyway, have the trailer.
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
@Kino well, it was a slow start and I am really picky when it comes to lesbian movies. There are so few of them and even fewer that are actually good.
@Thread: Last movie would probably be Skyfall. I was really looking forward to watching it when Kino was here, but we never did, so I found a stream a few weeks ago XP

Today I watched Watchmen and realized how flawed it was. ^^; The movie LOOKS amazing, that cannot be disputed. But the writing...^^;
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Iron Man 3 X3
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
I actually re-watched Scream IV for some reason. But this time around I couldn't really see it as a horror movie, it all was just so funny to me. I laughed way too much :3

Emma Roberts (

Watched Silver Linings Playbook just now on demand. Very good film; Jennifer Lawrence can do no wrong.
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
I just got done watching A Clockwork Orange for the first time. I must say, it's quite a Stanley Kubrick masterpiece :)
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
The other day I watched Schöne Frauen (which means Beautiful Women). It is a really really good movie about friendship between these five actresses, who all want to be casted in the same role. So they go from being "rivals" to becoming friends. The music is really good too.
Re: What was the last film you saw? Movies you plan to see?
Recently watched Fast & Furious 6. *pinches nose* Peeeeew! The only part I really enjoyed was the fight between Gina Carano and Michelle Rodriguez. That was worth the $8.00 ticket price alone.

I haven't watched it, yet. Never got the chance to. My friends say it's good.
@thread: I watched the uncut version of the movie Spider Lilies. A Taiwanese movie directed by Zero Chou.

It's mindless action like the previous ones. You may or may not like it, Franny. I love action movies as much as the next person, but too much BANG BANG BANG! BOOM BOOM BOOM! is just dull.
