"This is vengeance" Hell Girl - Jigoku Shōjo: Girl from Hell

I was introduced to this series years ago and since I'm currently in a rewatch, I thought it could use an honorary mention on the forum.

There is a website you can find at the stroke of midnight by one who harbors a desire for revenge against another; it is Hell Correspondence. At the stroke of midnight, the site will appear with only a place to type the name or names of those you want to take revenge and send it to Hell Girl. The user will receive a confirmation email or text that Hell Girl has received the names. Soon after, Hell Girl would inform the user of the conditions of their revenge: that though whom they hold a grudge against will go to Hell, the user too will go to Hell. The user would then be given a black straw doll with a red string tied around the neck and are given the choice to send their tormentor to Hell or not, by removing or breaking the red string.Hell Girl falls along the lines of A Nightmare on Elm Street with it's horror images. It's considered a repetitive series by many as each episode follows the same formula: Person gets tormented/screwed over by baddie of the day, person contacts Hell Girl and gets bound to a covenant with her, finally takes revenge on baddie. The only time the series starts switching things up is when Ai herself is focused on. Not her role as the Hell Girl, but as a person. There's also quite a bit of story in the later part of season one and three. Season three is the yuri entry in the series, thanks to Ai's possession of Yuzuki Mikage. :3

It's a very entertaining series with a mix of horror with drama. It can also be considered lighthearted when you see Ai interacting with her more human assistants; Wanyudo, Ren Ichimoku and Hone Onna.

She is so damn beautiful. I really wish I had the shots of her in a business/teacher outfit. ;_; One of the hottest anime women ever!!!
