Marriage Black - Manga

I. loved. this. manga. =)

It was short, but action-packed. It had interesting characters (both main characters are likeable), and it had almost a bittersweet, open ending. I've re-read it a couple times.

I wish there were more yuri stories like this, and less of the typical "school life" ones. Yuri could do with some more action-y tales.

After I read through it a second time, I think Lion is a girl. It's hard for me to see which gender they are.

The non-Chinese mafia (English?) had plans for their eldest daughter to marry the son of the Chinese mafia Donna. Stuff happens and the eldest English daughter and adopted Chinese girl run away together to be on their own. That leaves Lion - Lion gets dragged into the arranged marriage in place of her older sister who ran away.

At least that's how I remember it.

Though it would be interesting if Lion was forced to have a gay arranged marriage, I think the original intend of the mafia Donnas arranging it was to produce an heir?

This sounds interesting... I'll have to look into it. XD
