Those who have Mai-HiME Episode 10: Cake Wars! drilled your skulls will know what I'm talking about...

When Mikoto Minagi started to chase a loose dessert loving Orphan during Midori's Cake Wars competition, Fumi Himeno was able to stop her in her tracks with a matrix spoon trick.

Can anyone explain how the Hell you MATRIX PEOPLE WITH A SPOON!? ESPECIALLY A SKILLED FIGHTER LIKE MIKOTO!? Maybe this remarkable feat is supposed to compensate for the fact that Fumi doesn't have a personality outside of loving small children.

Well, maybe it's one of those things that SUNRISE did. I never even saw Fumi from the manga ever do that, too.

The most possible answer I can come up is her skills as a HiME. Granted, Fumi doesn't have a personality in the slightest, but Sunrise did establish her as one of the stronger HiME in the group. Did she not make Midori gas out? ;p

What doesn't make sense is if Fumi's able to knock Mikoto out with a spoon, then how did she lose to her in a real fight later on? Shame on Sunrise once again for not showing us that battle in it's entirety. I was quite pumped to see Mikoto vs. Fumi and the next thing you know, Fumi is wearing loli-black and serving Reito.

The truth is Fumi is the MATRIX, Mashiro told her and free her mind to the MATRIX. For Mikoto sake she got easily swayed about Fumi hidden strength but her character development really made her more tactical and stronger.

Wonder did Fumi actually took the red pill or blue pill.

Don't think it wasn't easy but let's just say she's one of the most developmental and powerful HiME out of the bunch. On next podcast, we should have character depth on Fumi Himeno life and probably how she fares up on being the Headmaster.

Maybe! A podcast on Fumi would be mostly speculation on her history and relationship with Kazahana. I'll consider it, but I think it would have to be attached to a larger topic. I'll keep ya, posted. We are scheduled to have a podcast before Otakon.

That's... an interesting concept. If she was some sort of super human like Mikoto was in Otome, that would explain how her life force could power all the Gems and how she was the first Otome ever.

I think she's just a normal human and maybe her reincarnation is special, but it's a fun idea to play around with.

For Fumi and every HiME despite losing their Childs, yes they still have those powers. Mashiro hinted the girls make their own decisions for now on and more trouble is coming around the horizon. Believe their Childs haven't left them as of yet.

Back to the topic, since Fumi has nobility blood like Mikoto,Akira and Shizuru. Those are highly power maidens that could do much more and ascend abilities to the highest limit. We should do type of description of each materializers,maidens or dangerous types that could be a threat.

HiME, MiKO, Otome what's next......................?

Who knows? Fumi could be trained to be a hypercompetent maid but she is still a maid....is she?
