Nao X Mikoto? Or?

Why does Nao call everyone by their last name except Mikoto?
In subbed not even Aoi is mentioned, by Nao but then again
I re-watched this anime in both sub and dub.
Obviously, Nao doesn't like Mai and most of the other HiME.

Other than that what drew her to Mikoto?

My question is what draws Nao to Mikoto?
Yes, they are classmates..and even the directors cut
they are seen hanging around each other.

The fake movie trailer we have Mikoto crying over a hurt/dying Nao.
Also the opening song I remember seeing them around each other.

My only thought non yuri related,
"Is that Mikoto's childish/fun side helps her relax and is comforting
due to her stressful life that concerned her mother in the hospital."

Maybe it helps her enjoy her school years more.
I do know, I like Mai X Mikoto, however I could see Nao liking her also.
I just wondered people's thoughts on either of the whys:

1) Why Nao used Mikoto.

2) What Nao could of felt then.
Pure desire to manipulate or?

3) When Reito brought Mikoto out of the wreckage what was Nao thinking up there?
Guilt?

Or pure anger, hatred?

4) Also if you could see them together?

5) Who would you find right for Nao?
Also Mikoto?

Answer what you can.
I think a lot, sometimes TOO much.
Also my mind is often full of both thoughts and questions.:lol:

Besides using her, maybe Nao sees Mikoto as a naive, innocent girl. Nao only seems to go after people who have done harm to her, like Shizuru, Natsuki, Mai. As far as my memory knows, Mikoto didn't really do anything to harm Nao. Nao probably knows that Mikoto isn't the type of person to harm people in general, not including the enemy. Maybe Mikoto reminds Nao of herself when she was younger. I don't know. Just making random guesses :3

I agree she might remember herself as a happy child when around Mikoto.
(If only all the characters had their own prelude to understand the them.)
I think Mikoto would probably be fun for her to be around.

Now that I think about it.. Mai took care of Takumi.
Nao was pretty much orphaned when her mom was hospitalized.
I sensed jealousy but maybe there is also regret.
I could tell she was jealous of how others treated Mai.
From your statement I thought more on this.

Natsuki saw herself behaving just like Nao in her own past.

I think as Mikoto would be the most comforting for her.

I could see her even developing friendship with Natsuki.

Less likely to be around Mai and obviously Shizuru.
