Choose your new Hime [Mai-HIME]

This idea came from reading the "what you want in a third hime series' thread and it goes like this.

If Sunrise were to make a new hime anime and the story involved non-hime characters gaining
powers in some way, which characters you like to see this happen to?

Be sure too mention their M.I.P(Most important person) and what child and element would suit them.

Would choose Aoi or Chie as new HiME's, Aoi becomes an HiME and Chie is MIP. But in a twist the Aoi creates from her dreams nao as a visions of the future and what her role is to save the world.

Youko would been a good add into the HiME armory, Haruka is definitely kicking ass for the HiME's and play big role into the third series.

For Aoi's Child should be water/air type dragon who controls the weather and better combat in underwater advantage.

Youko's Child.....................Uh still pending on it though

Haruka Suzushiro for sure, with Yukino as her obviously M.I.P. Haruka as a HiME is one of the brilliant ideas the manga had, and seeing Haruka with HiME powers would be a nice precursor to Mai-Otome's Haruka Armitage. :3 Her CHILD wouldn't change either, I just want to see her manga incarnation transferred into animation. Shizuru and Kiyohime won't even be a memory once they get through with her. ;p

My list of ideas

Haruka - She was bad-ass in the manga and otome so the good guys could use that on their side. Her element fits her 'fierce yet not so subtle' mind set. But I have to ask, WHAT was her child in the manga?

Youko - Again manga only but her element was unique and she dosen't strike me as a front line fighter type. Child, debatable. M.I.P, Midori of course mabye even help the shipping of this pair.

Chie - Between her and Aoi, I think Chie would make a better hime, don't know why. As for element/child, probably similar to her robe from zwei, which I thought was pretty sweet.

Irina woods - Considering her affinity for technology, her element could allow her hack and manipulate said devices with a child that controls magnetism. Her M.I.P though, no clue.

Sara gallagher - Giant Batarang ftw and with her trusty sidekick a huge bat/flying fox inspired child she will kick the ugly ass of evil wherever it may be. Though who is this masked girl and her M.I.P?

Tomoe - Who better to be an evil hime (though i'm sure some may disagree). Don't know about element and child, but if like her otome counter-part she is complety smitten with Shizuru then theres her M.I.P. Wait, if her child gets killed then.............. oh smeg :shock:

Haruka vs Shizuru should be an interesting battle to see who has a bigger ego.

I would preferrably choose Arika as the new HiME and Erstin as her M.I.P.

This idea came to my mind when I remembered her in the fake movie trailer. So her element and CHILD would be based on the fake trailer: her element like the Blue Sky Sapphire and her CHILD similar to Alyssa's Artemis.

Nanomachines part into the HiME-verse, not bad idea Luu. Would prefer Aoi as a HiME instead of Chie unless they both become HiME's. They remind me from Neptune & Uranus.

I don't agree with that but Aoi and Chie would be great non action girls, they can't all be himes you know.

Of course, but it wouldn't hurt to give them abilities. Aoi, mostly. I'm recommend to SUNRISE to make her HiME debut a surprise, one that nobody will see coming.

Won't be a surprise for Mai fans but I do expect her element and child to kick the most ass and fanservice for Aoi.

Let be serious, I do want more girls to have more powers, definitely were going to see alot kinds or types of Materializers. The fact is we need alot of good enemies and alot of asses to be kicked.

Another question: What kind of HiME mark would place Aoi hot delicious body.

I could see Chie as something of an action girl but Aoi...that is sort of strecthing it to me.

It would be, if we're thinking traditional. Wouldn't matter either way to me, but we could use something new in the next Mai-Series.

Unless your thinking Aoi and Chie are damsels in distress. Would Aoi take up arms or prefer both of them to fight for Fuuka's sake and the worlds future. Whatever happens to the HiME's, they'll be Deus Ex Machina for battle.

Lots of canidates for the hime role, imagine the huge battles. Good hime vs evil hime with the new girls choosing sides.

Element ideas

Youko - the healing hime with her stethoscope

Chie - magic wand/cane (maybe with hat)

Aoi - good question, something supportive rather than combative

Arika - her crystal lance from otome should do

Nina - sai-like daggers or a bident, i can't decide

Erstin - No clue

Irina - VR goggles and gloves for hacking high-tech hardware

Tomoe - could use dual chain whips (or a rattle and pacifier)

I rather have Irina do the work when helping other Materializers injured than Youko clearly her element using her hands to ease the nerves down.

No Aoi will fight even against her own will eventually something terribly for Aoi would result the HiME getting involved. Making Aoi to fight to the very end.

Could be the same situation like in Otome I doubt it. Arika and Erstin will fight against anyone. Do believe Chun Mei and Nina (the Cat) will go solo and stop against SEARRS.

Like I said Irina's doing grunt work unless the HiME's ask her eventually.

Tomoe - could use dual chain whips (or a rattle and pacifier)

Not a bad idea, Tomoe should have dual katana-chain plus still be antagonistic thorn to the HiME's

Still the same with Artemis but uses it carefully against powerful opponents.

On the Aoi part, Aoi needs character development. Sunrise like her and beautiful brunette stallion hair. One Chie's part, she'll become an HiME but a twist soon.

Point is, Alyssa's equipment is usually A-list. So her element would be a force to be reckoned with. Just don't think of something cheesy like a giant summon of her bird form.

Unless you have crazy amount of speed then, you destroy that thing in matter of seconds

Dunno how you guys feel about Mai HiME Destiny but would you be alright if the new series were to suddenly give the guys powers like Takeda suddenly gaining powers that enhance his kendo abilities or no?

At this rate, hildebrant, anything to make the guys-in-distress more useful in the new series would be enough. Mai-HiME Destiny was a step in the right direction, glad you brought that up.

Hey glad to be of service and glad to see you were okay with it. Yeah I say give Takeda his Miko powers and as for Yuuichi, Maybe give him some that enhance his strength to the point where he could fight off an orphan using his bare hands
