MaixChie [Mai-HiME]

Inspired by the little exchange the two of them had during their goodbye scene in Episode 25. (The one where Mai tells Chie "If you were a boy, I might've fallen for you" and Chie replies that she'll "take that as a compliment.") I thought it would be amusing to get people's thoughts on the idea of the two of them as a potential pairing.

Aaaah, Chie/Mai! I barely touch upon this pairing, but it's certainly a favourite. :3 Those two could definitely be canon if they just had another little *push* towards one another... Maybe even Aoi could get in on the action. ;3

Chie/Mai realy rings my bell due to their personalities meshing so well. We have the teasing, romantic seme, and the just *as* teasing uke who is willing to make her partner happy, no matter what the means. Definitely a good pair.

I think they are double kawaii cuties.

I agree with Kat. I think they mesh well together, but Sunrise never gave them the time to explore each other fully. :D

I was the one who mentioned the scene in that thread. That was probably the main reason I thought to bring the pairing up here, actually. Thanks for the screens.

I'm not sure if this is going to go over very well on such a yuri-oriented forum, but here's another possibility to think on. Mai's line was "If you were a boy, I might have fallen for you, Chie." So what if Chie actually had been a boy? (Almost wondering if that question would be best off under the HiME forum rather than here though.)
