Not going to lie, it was decent, especially after they decided to remake it. I mean, the original was only three episodes, but after a while they seemed to overemphasize something introduced in the showed in beginning. It went along with everything, but still. I say go for it, just be aware that you will realize that "something" (or so I thought they overemphasized it, but I'm only a person so...) throughout the anime.

Just finished Ergo Proxy ^_^ I really enjoyed the show; I find it perfect: Beautiful art and computer graphics, unique and likable characters with unique personalities, lots of twists and turns and confusion, some sad/happy/hilarious/intense moments, great soundtrack, and best of all, its unique and original story. Ergo Proxy ranked as a "personal" favorite, a special ranking. Highly recommend the show~

((Enjoyed Ergo Proxy when it first released. I remember when it was licensed here, everyone at my old anime club called it the "Amy Lee anime" because of how the first DVD cover looked with Re-l Mayer. Now she's bad ass, definitely somewhere in my top 50 greatest anime females.))

Finished watching Black Rock Shooter (OVA, song and Anime). I liked the twist in the story. S'all I can say.

Hmmm... I haven't had any recommendations so far. I'm thinking of watching Ga-Rei Zero or Ergo Proxy, since these series have been mentioned so many times now (on chatbox and threads).

Both are pretty good. If I had to compare, Ergo Proxy has the better artwork and more visual world. Ga-Rei Zero has the better characters and overall story. Try adding Vividred Operation and Muv-Luv Total Eclipse to your list as well. They're kicking off my 2013 nicely.

Just watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood like 2 days ago, and I had to lol at the fact that my favorite character of them all is the Chinese ninja-girl who's voiced by Mizuki Nana, Lan Fan xDD Totally no bias there Razz

The anime itself is pretty good, solid storytelling, nice hooks, awesome character development...very worth the watch.

Isn't Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood that remake series to resemble the manga better? I guess it would be a stupid question to ask if it's better than the original anime. ;p Does Winry and Lust have a lot of screen time at least?

Finished watching Umineko.

It's a good anime to watch to those who like murder mysteries with bits of gore.

Don't be surprised if anyone notices that several characters look like they were taken from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

After all, they were developed by the same company, 07th Expansion.

And this is why I have an account on Myanimelist. Even that is incomplete but it has saved me from re-watching some shows I had already dropped and were so bad I had forgotten I had tried watching them before!
I have watched (or tried to) everything Yuri related. Yuru yuri being the exception, it just doesn't appeal to me!!

I've been a little out of touch for the last years. Now I wait for the season to end so I can choose the ones I'll download to see when I have the time. Last I watched was Arcana Famiglia (got through one episode and kept fast-forwarding the others looking for some redeeming quality) and that was a waste of time. Such a good synopsis but the most anticlimactic thing ever. I also downloaded "Tatakau Shisho - The Book of Bantorra" and "Accel World". I may get some time to watch one this week but I don't know which one. Suggestions without spoilers?

Yuru Yuri is a subtle yuri series that is mostly watched for laughs. Turn your brain off to watch it, otherwise you'll hate it even more! XD

I'll add Yuru Yuri to watch over the summer then! I'm more receptive to light wtfness.
On other news... I haven't watched "The Book of Bantorra" yet. But watched a bunch of other stuff in order to procrastinate XD

1) Accel World was awesome. I'd watch a second season. I already knew I was getting a loser-turned-strong-lead-guy just from the picture, but it had some very honest moments and I just want that technology already!!!
2) Inu x Boku SS was interesting. I learned that everything is S or M. I would like a second season, it's easy to become attached to the characters and the next season would be heartbreaking according to the manga.
3) Dai Mahou Touge. Potato-Dono and Paya Livingston. If you're a pot smoker, don't watch this.
4) Nekomonogatari: Kuro. I liked the previous seasons... So I don't know why I couldn't connect to this one. Dropped it but will watch the vampire movie.
5) Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. I recommend it to everyone!! Refreshing romance story! Laughed my ass off. The first ep could be a movie by itself.
6) Hotarubi no Mori e. Right in the feels!!! Short cute movie.
7) Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki. Waste of time.
8) Seitokai Yakuindomo. Welcome to my life, sex jokes everywhere every 10 seconds.
9) Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. Damn ninja cutting onions under my eyes!!! If you can ignore the plot holes and think of it as the result of the character's middle school logic... It's about a drop dead gorgeous troll ghost.

I remember Dai Mahou Touge, so much fun...also if you are on any hallucinogens I highly suggest keeping away from this series
