I think NatNao can only work in Alternate Universes. With all the circumstances that's happened between the two, yes, I don't see it happening. However, take it out of those circumstances and into something different, I can totally see it happening.

And I never really thought about them being all that similar, tragic past and trusting issues aside (who doesnt have these?).

Natsuki has always been more serious. Always focused on some task or goal and striving towards it. Nao is more playful and just kinda does her thing. And the whole thing about them both having dominant personalities... so...?

It doesn't mean they won't get along. It just means they'll be having lots of quarrels... and angry smex. Probably.

Anyway, thats my 2 cents. :3

In other words, she's the anti-hero with a dazzling exterior. I suppose I can see the appeal in that.

To remain on topic, both Miss Natsuki and Miss Nao were quite reluctant to become forces for good. By going through with it on episode 26, they must take pride in it now. Miss Natsuki even led the girls before Miss Midori could say anything.
