I've never met a fan of this show, past or present (forum member wise) that hated Nao. If safe to say that we were all fascinated by her. Next to Shizuru and Natsuki, she's probably the 3rd most popular character from Mai-HiME. Otome...not so sure...which is sad, as I do love Juliet a lot more.

Speak about Nao's mother Luu, do you think in the next series Nao's mother will play a huge role somehow situations related to HiME's and her daughter relationship with Nao.

Nao's mother should discover that her daughter has these strange abilities. Yes, the HiME Star is gone, but you know that isn't true because of the events of Mai-Otome. HIghly Advanced Materializing Equipment is eternal. The only realistic way to give Nao's mother a developing role is to reveal that she knew about the HiME, Searrs and First District. Probably too much...
What she wasn't expecting was her daughter being a HiME. Luckily for her, Nao has converted to the righteous path of the church.
For now.

It would not surprise me to see Nao mother being an enigma to the HiME's and to Nao. I want Nao mother to have an old element weapon and a CHILD that is much more powerful than the HiME's. Remember in the previous discussion Luu about mothers roles as once HiME same on Mai mother and how she died. Mother and daughter connection can play a convincing plot to all of this.
