Yeah. Often it is a case of me developing a liking to watching normal cartoons such as Justice League, Earthworm Jim and the like, but then once I get tired of those, it is back into Assassination Classroom, Soul Taker, Chaos Head, Mai Otome, Yugioh 5Ds, Attack on Titan... all the awesome stuff. The weird thing is that both categories feel mutually exclusive; one must not exist in the presence of the other. The only non-anime thing that's managed to bypass that anomaly is Avatar: The Last Airbender (and by extension Legend of Korra), so no matter which trend I'm into at the time, I can watch that without fear of something irrationally complaining I shouldn't be doing so.

There is one person that comes to mind. She left this forum a long time ago. Thing is, I know she knows I'm sorry. But the hurt was so great, that reuniting wouldn't accomplish anything. My life has changed drastically since she disappeared, and I'd like to think that whatever she's doing now, is making her happy (in an honest way).

Now then. Interesting question. Notionally, every relationship needs a frisson of tension every now and again as that certainly tends to spice things up. However, speaking from personal experience, even though most of my relationships have ended in some degree of mutual hatred the lovin' was still pretty meh. Which probably explains why I prefer being single.

Whenever I watch the ending of Beneath the Planet of the Apes, the thought often crosses my mind. The idea behind that ending was that humanity is mad and will never be change for the better.

No. Killing seven billion people & sending countless other species into radioactive oblivion hardly seems like the answer to the actions of the few imbeciles who perpetrate atrocities and foment wars. I really hope I'm not mistaken in my belief that there's a vast and relatively silent majority who exercise tolerance and seek to understand the different experiences & worldviews of people, even though they are too often drowned out by the blow-hards, bloviators, utter bastards and general oxygen-wasting pond life.

YES! ALL THE TIME! See I have two major rooms. Bedroom and media room. Both contain my entire figure, book, gaming and anime collections. I venture into one or the other with some kind of intention.
