Amen to that. I must admit it took me a while to warm to Arika but I duly adore her now. Her naivety and boundless idealism might invite the scorn of more experienced and cynical characters but she's a tough cookie too with the tools to back her ideals up.

Definitely agree regarding her appearance in Zwei. Definitely, erm, beginning to take after her mother more...

Oh, that's just standard procedure! Even back in Mai-HiME, Reito played second fiddle to Midori. He may have been a ladies man from the Student Council in his past life, but Rad is no less a working stiff. Midori was the cream of the crop in a lower rank position. Makes you understand why Sunrise made her leader of the Aswald. True, Midori Sugiura passed on since the events of HiME, but the fighting spirit lives on in her reincarnation.

Definitely. I mean, she carved through two Slaves during the final battle almost dismissively, ever ready with a barb for Natsuki. :3 To say she can handle herself is an understatement on a par with saying she looked slightly younger in her Robe than she does without at that time.
