I like Chokebore a lot and I would like to grab more of their material. The simple rhythm and melancholic vibe to their music is great. I also love the hell out of the vocalist, sure he can't sing too well but he sings a certain way that makes me love it.





Megumi Hayashibara-Shining Girl
Initially when I tried to get into more obscure areas of music I just ignored J Pop since it wasn't matching with what I liked at the time. Since I've got into an anime though I checked out Hayashibara's Bertemu which included this song on there and it helps sum up why I like it J Pop a lot more nao. Those melodies are just simply awesome(it also help that musicianship can be pretty high depending on the song).

Props for plugging the legendary seiyuu/performing artist, Megumi Hayashibara. What's this? It's a Slayers song too! One of my favorite anime series. In fact, I have a few favorites from the series that Megumi-sama performed:

Unfortunately I haven't seen any Slayer stuff yet, I have the first three seasons ready for May though and I will watch the movie then as well. The Slayer tunes I've heard came from that Hayashibara album which also included Midnight Blue(which is a truly badass song especially for that bridge and bass line).

Want to see something really retarded? It's a Multiverse Clash special on Anti-Drugs starring some of the greatest cartoon characters that ever lived. Nicely titled "Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue". So why is it retarded? The idea to put all our childhood icons (the ones before anime took over) was excellent. The idea to have them all be naggy parents about drugs? BAD. Shame, this could of been a really great special if done correctly and a lot more serious. Prepare yourself...

Melissa Etheridge's rendition of Breathe . Beautiful song, Melissa can express pain through the lyrics so well.

that song is AMAZING!!! i looked for it for quite some time after i heard it on the matrix. then one day, a couple of years after i had given up, someone sent me a link to it. i immediately downloaded it naturally. still love it


this is my favourite song of all time. it was the song that got me into industrial, drum and bass, and electro. all at once.this song is completely made by 1 person. celldweller is 1 singular human being. he does all instruments, singing, and mixing. so keep that in mind when listening, and it makes it even better
