Once again you threaten me with your lovely chainsaw. Anyway, no that's not why. I have nothing against straight people. It's just that she...well first off for some reason her personality irks me as a whole. She's literally too sweet...people like that tend to avoid truth. She also gets hurt easily and is a bit dependent if people. One last thing is...her voice. Gosh damn, I can't stand it. That's all I could think of at the moment.

Well, Akane is established as the unrealistically nice girl-next-door. There is no doubt that Akane had one kick ass debut as a HiME. I thought revealing her powers to Kazuya was an interesting move and a chance for the story to expand around her a little.

Miyu does the stab hear round the world. I don't hate Akane, but she was treated a little unfairly when she could of played a pivotal role in the Carnival arc. There could of been another way for Sunrise to get the message across that the SEARRS Foundation meant business.

Well first off she went to seek help and took the intuitive to tell Kazuya. Person I think she could have decided that on her own. And yes I have to agree she could have played a role other than the fact that it proved not losing your life as your loss as a HiME.
