Mai Otome Timeline

Recently, I've been working on a timeline into Earl's known history; at times however this shall get clouded, considering Sunrise are self-harming trolls to their own series and all so a lot of these things are my own working out, so they could be awkwardly wrong in certain sections.

[CHARACTER AGES ARE TO ZWEI'S DATE].

0? - The Twelve Kingdom War.

264 - Monica is born [DECEASED].

266 - Miss Maria is born (65)

281 - Monica, Miss Maria's Oneesama dies during the Dragon King War. Miss Maria states that this was exactly fifty years ago making the current date of Otome 331.

303 - Sergei is born [Due to him looking around 13 at the time of liking Lena] (29)

305 - Youko Helene and Midori are born (27) [Here I have been unsure, however, Youko has a photo with her, Midori and Reito (before he became to be known as Rad), in the image Midori and Youko look around... 12, whilst Reito is about 16 by appearance).

306 - Anh Lu is born (26)

307 - Shizuru Viola and Haruka Armitage are born (25)

308 - Natsuki Kruger and Laula Biachi are born (24)

309 - Mai Tokiha and Carla Bellini are born (23)

310 - Sara Gallagher and Rosalie Claudel are born (22)

311 - Sifr's date [Due to the photo concerning Midori, Reito and Youko, I decided this should be the date for Sifr, since at the time Reito was around 8].

314 - Nao Zhang and Nagi Artai are born (18)

315 - Tomoe Marguerite, Lilie Adean are born (17)

316 - Arika Yumemiya, Nina Wáng, Mashiro Blan de Windbloom, Yayoi Alter, Miya Clochette, Irina Woods and Erstin Ho are born [7th September ~ Arika, Nina and Mashiro | Erstin; DECEASED] (16)

317 - The Fire of Windbloom Castle | Death to the Windbloom Royal Family & Lena Sayers.

327 - Ribbon is born [I would say she is around five, to then eventually be adopted by Mai, she does have that motherly streak, after all].

331 - Mai Otome's date.

332 - Due to September passing for Mashiro, Arika and Nina's birthday, I suspect Mai Otome would have easily have moved into the year of 332.

332 - Zwei's date | The chaos of Yuna | MIYU's awakening of the Administrater Star.

[I believe that eventually I shall come back to this, I'll probably be adding in my theories to different topics relating to the mythology and background which Mai Otome holds].

This, hilariously, is an example to the things which I think of in my spare time.

I think you did an analysis thread based around the "bridge" we kept discussing about in the past. For those of you who don't know what "bridge" is, it's the link between Mai-HiME and Mai-Otome. Strong possibility after what we've heard in the later events of Mai-Otome and of course, Sifr. I just can't wrap my head around how unimportant the events of Mai-HiME are when compared to Mai-Otome. Other than Polaroids of the Orphan Akane was fighting, there is never a time where Miyu goes:

"A long time ago, Twelve maidens, who changed the face of the ancient Obsidian Lord's Carnival forever, save the world from annihilation in the year 2004 AD."

Your timeline starts at the War of the Twelve Kingdom and ends with Zwei, making this a canon-esque timeline. Anything you plan to add before or after (?) will be purely theory. Thank Sunrise for that. :)

My brain just loves to muddle me up into these huge sessions of thought when it comes to this, but anyway, I thought I may as well begin on the theories which I have for Mai Otome.

Mashiro, Arika and Nina are born on the 7th September 316.

Now, this is something which I only just noticed for the date for what I put in the timeline; however, for if Sunrise may have done this purposely, if at all, we'll probably never know.

Elizabeth Tudor I, Queen of England
BORN: 7th September 1533
REIGN: 1558 – 1603

Mashiro, Queen of Windbloom
BORN: 7th September 0316
REIGN: 0332 -

1603 ~ Swap these numbers around -> 0316; its like the death card in tarot, the death of something, to the rebirth of another.

Now, people may constantly be relating Mashiro to the infamous Marie Antoinette, but they always forget the fact that she retrained herself to become a better person. Gradually, throughout the anime I noticed that she begins to also take on the traits of Elizabeth Tudor.

Elizabeth Tudor, alike to her father, Henry VIII was ridiculous stubborn with a fiery temper; it was like trying to get through a brick wall at times, basically. However, she was subtle when it came to power (although people would instantly argue with this, but Mashiro does gradually begin to relax on her ruling, steadily but slowly changing her ways in the faintest way). Elizabeth formed trading and alliance treaties, something which has also been seen with Mashiro whom made an alliance with the Aswad, most likely trading with them and helping to restore their technology in the process.

The Aswad, who I believe to be a blend of Persia and Egypt (due to the Black Valley architecture of Cat God Mountain radiating that Arabic feel) are utterly alien compared to Windbloom, they are, let's say, native. This is alike to what happened during Elizabeth's time when her soldiers were out searching through the New Lands of America and sending over settlers; although at the time England and Spain were as usual attempting to slice each other's necks, Elizabeth would have most likely have formed a treaty of trade over to them automatically, this eventually spreading.

Archduke Bel Glan De Artai (Mashiro and Nagi's father) Had up to six wives, it is highly likely he had a lot more offspring than just Nagi and Mashiro also.

Henry VIII (Elizabeth I's father) He also had six wives along with the possibility of having more children than just Elizabeth, Mary and Edward.

For all we know Nina and Mashiro could be related, since, most royal families of Earth are connected through blood at some point. E,g; the German and British houses are thickly embedded with relations all across history.

But, I'm not entirely sure if there would be a possibility due to Windbloom's royal family (Whom I see as the United Kingdom and the British Royal Family) and Taiyun (possibly a state of Japan) and Artai Principality (Russia/China) having very little if no connection in royal blood whatsoever. But you never know.

For the nation side I'll go into this next time, but there are so many things which need to be placed down as it is.

Also for next time - Mikoto's (Human) connection to Norse mythology.

Why have I never noticed this?

So we have Mashiro, Arika and Nina; however.

Sergei discovers Nina and gives her the birthday of 7th September because he knew Lena's child was born on this date, however, no one knew the fact that this is in fact Nina's true birthday.

Because of this, it is most likely the case that Nina and Arika have known one another for their whole life due to Lena and Sifr being so close.

Mashiro however, we'll never know if her birthday is really the 7th September.

I think I'm gaining an interest for Nina/Arika now... especially over the fact they are purely yin/yang - Arika: blue eyes, brown hair, Nina: brown eyes, blue hair along with personality wise.
