Mai-Multiverse Chapter III: Rise of the Fallen [Mai-HiME/Otome O.C. Roleplay]

"Well," Toshi brought a finger to his chin to think about it. "You talked to all those people in the meeting room like Shizuru-mama, you like motorcycles like Natsuki-mama," Toshi then pointed to Kaito's left eye. "And you have Shizuru-mama's eyes."

Kaito somehow managed a laugh and smiled again, "You sure are smart aren't you Toshi-kun? You've got a good eye for this sort of thing," he shook his head, "In a way I mean...I guess I'm sort of..." he glanced back up at his 'parents' again before looking back at Toshi.

"I am, and I'm not. Cause your Shizuru-mama and Natsuki-mama aren't quite the same people as my Mom and my Kaa-san," he whispered, "Since I'm from Earth, and you're from here. But if what you say is true, and what I know is true, I guess that sort of makes you my brother," he grinned, leaning in close, "In the weird alternative universe sort of way. Just don't go telling everyone about it alright?"

Toshi smiled and nodded enthusiastically. "Hai, Kaito-nii!"

Kaito mussed Toshi's hair and stood back up, "Atta boy, now come on, I think they're waiting on us,"

Toshi laughed and he then caught up with Shizuru and took hold of her hand.

Frowning at the blood stains she had somehow forgotten about, Reika gave a frustrated growl. She jogged towards the Gakuenchou and asked politely, "Umm... Do you mind if I borrow some clothes and take a bath before we go wherever we're going to go to? I've just noticed I'm covered in blood." She then scraped a little bit of dried blood on her face and frowned. It fell onto the floor, staining the floor.

((Just in case anyone is confused, when Reika was transported to Garderobe she killed a slave and got covered in blood.))

Kruger glanced Reika up and down and sighed, "There will be clothing for you all on the ship. I'm afraid you'll have to change so you will blend in better here," she gestured to Reika's body, "You'll be able to wash up in there. No one else will be around when you leave, so there's no one to impress for the time being."

Kaito jogged up to hear the conversation, "New clothes huh? Oh, but these will still be around right? This is my best uniform-and I really don't want to have to buy a new one if I go back without it..."

Natsuki snorted, "Yes. Your old clothes will still be around. Are you all ready though?"

Shizuru took hold Toshi's little hand with gentle grace, "it's all right, Toshi-chan. Mama is here now."

Turning her attention to the concern Gakuenchou, Shizuru couldn't help but feel uneasy about the events that transpired earlier. She felt capable of putting Tomoe away should the opportunity present itself; it's just that she couldn't allow herself to become a demon at this time. Her set of crimson jeweled eyes focused on Natsuki as if she were in danger as well.

"If the children end up in a cross fire between of our own child, I swear I will make Tomoe pay." responded a very stern Shizuru. "It's outrageous, Natsuki-chan. Even after several trials following the fall of Nagi Dài Artai, Tomoe found a way to avoid life sentences." sighed the brunette. "Mou...it's not fair since everyone is too stupid to believe her lies."

Hikari ran towards the massive ship that was prepared for her entire party. The ship itself was a newer model; much grander in size with luxury that rivals. "Hey you guys! The inside looks so biiiig! Come on, what are you waiting for!?" yelled out the golden hair girl, waving at Kaito seeing how he was in the front of the group. "Una-sama, can you believe it? My first journey across Earl feels like a dream come true. If I return successful, they'll have to train me to become an Otome like you. So please, wait for me...what the?!"

In the distance, a shining light came down slowly near the city square of Windbloom. The people in the area stared at the beam of light as it made it's way down, all muttering in confusion. Hikari, Shizuru and Youko could also see it as well from the front of Garderobe. "What is that?" asked Hikari as the beam finally touched the ground, resulting in a deadly explosion that engulfed the entire city square like a ball of fire.

"GET DOWN!" screamed Hikari, jumping to save the escorts of the ship while hoping the others found quick safety. Shizuru fell to her knees and protected Toshi-chan with her body; also pulling in Natsuki close to her by force. "Natsuki-chan! Get Toshi-chan out of here now, it could be Tomoe making her move! I'll handle this!"

Rising to her feet, she dashed towards the main gate; leaping over it with ease. Landing perfectly, she faces the city then shouts "Materialize!", activating her robe. As this took place, Hikari stared in amazement as Shizuru transformed for battle.

"Oh Lady Fumi, it's beautiful..." the beautiful girl whispered to herself before realizing she must assist Shizuru. "You two are going to be okay!" Hikari informs the escort soldiers of Windbloom. Yohko kicks off her heels and makes haste to ship.

"Hikari-chan! Is anyone injured!?"

"No Miss Yohko, whatever happened, I'm going to check it out."

"WAIT, HIKARI! You can't do that without exposing your powers to the citizens of Windbloom!"

"I'm sorry, Miss Yohko. These people are in trouble and I must help them! I know they would do the same for me if they had my powers. I'm so sorry!" yelled the golden haired girl as she run as fast as she could to catch up with Shizuru. "KAITO-CHAN! REIKA! I'M GOING TO NEED YOUR HELP!"

Another explosion set itself off in the exact same spot, with several people getting caught by the blast. This was clearly an attack and not some natural phenomena; though Shizuru couldn't make out where it was coming from. Shizuru swooped in to save any injured people laying around the ground zero wreckage, taking them to the slums area to hide.

"Stay here!" she insisted with her powerful tone of voice.

"Yes, Meister Shizuru!" responded the citizens of Windbloom.

Flying back to the sight, she anxiously awaited the third incoming attack. "Let's not play this game of hide and seek, Tomoe-chan. Show yourself, now!"

"Shizuru-oneesama!"

Shizuru turned around and stared in disbelief as Hikari made her way to the wrecked city square. "Hikari, what are you doing here! Go back and stay with the others! It's too dangerous for you!"

"I can't just leave you alone, plus I can hear the cries of the people. With my ability to sense heartbeats, I'll save everyone in the area! Please!"

Shizuru nodded in agreement, it wasn't time to for a committee when human lives where at stake. "Go now and be careful!"

"Yes! You can count on me!" saluted Hikari, jumping, in great lengths, towards the nearest building that collapsed. With her great strength, she lifted the massive pieces of rubble to uncover a trapped family. "Please...help my children..." pleaded the weakened mother.

Hikari pulled the woman out of the pile gently without causing any further damage. "Quickly, where are you children?"

"They were right behind me, but they must of went into the back-"

That was all the golden haired girl needed to hear as she dug her way to find the children. "Come on...you have to be here somewhere...." she thought to herself; scared that she may never find them in time. Lifting a few giant cinder blocks out of the way, she could feel hearts racing with muffled cries becoming clearer each time Hikari uncovered the pile of wreckage. "I can hear you!!! Stay with me!!!" asserted the girl, hoping to keep these two conscious enough to rescue. At last, she found their bodies and pulled them both out slowly without causing further injury. The mother's children were two daughters roughly around the ages of 12.

"Mama..."

"Where's our..."

"You're going to be okay, your mother is here!"

"Who...are...you?" asked the battered young girl.

"Hikari Bregna at your service! Now come on, we better get out of here! Hold onto your sister, now. She's in worse shape than you...hold each other close...and perfect!"

Hikari carried both girls, leaping out of the destroyed building without causing them any whiplash. For a moment, the mother couldn't believe her eyes as Hikari rescued her children without the aid of a thousand men or an Otome. No longer did it matter as her children were safe.

"Ma'am! I believe your daughters will be just fine, we'll need to get them to a doctor!"

"Thank you so much. Oh thank you so much for-"

In a perfect world, there would be no villains. No manifestation of hate. Heroic deeds would be applauded, honor would be the general standard and heroes would remain heroes forever. On this day, in this reality, it was anything but perfect. Two young girls watched as their mother was decapitated right before their very eyes."

"You people of Windbloom made me fight a meaningless war. You stole everything from me...and now, I'm taking everything you hold precious to you by force. You will fear my name for eternity."

Shizuru watched in horror, unable to move her body as she identified the attacker in a heart beat. "No...it can't be. Monica Julen died many years ago..."

Tears ran down Hikari's face as she looked at her opponent not with fear, but with extreme anger.

"I don't know who you are...mark my words...the moment I bring these innocent children to safety, I will kill you."

Life isn't fair. Nobody said it would be.

((Battle officially starts here. Hikari will start off by trading blows with Monica. Reika will assist Hikari in battle, while Kaito and Shizuru gather the remaining survivors. Then Kaito will enter the battle and we'll eventually take Monica down. Now remember, Monica WILL kick our O.C.'s (and Natsuki and Shizuru's) asses for a while, so always sell her attacks until I give the signal to finally shift the momentum over to our O.C.'s side. There will also be a sub-plot where Kaito will try to calm Hikari down. Kona-chan, have Hikari's retaliation bother Kaito because he was used to the optimistic and silly strong girl. How someone can switch to a dark side so fast is a result of her alien genes. If he doesn't stop her rage after the eventual defeat of Monica, Windbloom will be completely destroyed.))

"Ok then...." Reika frowned, shrugged and looked at the woman for a few moments before reacting to a scream by Hikari. "GET DOWN!" Got Reika lying on her stomach and wondering what just happened. She got up in an instant and followed Shizuru out of the main gate. "Woah." She commented on the chaos before her eyes. Watching the woman 'materialize', she materialized her elements and Sakuragi too.

"It's playtime, Saku!" Reika grinned and Sakuragi purred in return, morphing into a tiny pair of wings onto Reika's back. It looked more like a tattoo than a pair of normal wings but nothing ever seemed normal when it comes to Reika.

"KAITO-CHAN! REIKA! I'M GOING TO NEED YOUR HELP!" Was what Reika barely heard from Hikari before she disappeared into the city. Not planning to miss the chance to play, Reika flew after Hikari. She caught up with her rather quickly ("coz I'm flying, duh.") and flew right beside the raging girl.

She looked around herself while Hikari was busy digging through rubble. People were either dying or already dead. The rest were grouped by Shizuru and Reika was slightly amazed by their obedience. As expected of Fujino-kaichou's alternate persona...

All of the sudden, the woman whose children were saved by Hikari was dead. Just seconds ago, she was sobbing and now she's dead. Reika stared at her dead body incredulously and looked at her head which was now at her feet. Thank goodness her eyes are closed... else I would have peed my shorts She looked up at the culprit, slightly irked that someone would kill a mother and she lifted a curious brow, then she looked at Hikari. Something was amiss with her.

"Umm... Hikari? Chill... anger will make you do the stupidest things that will cost you your life. Listen to me and you won't die that quickly from this bitch." Reika advised the angry Hikari, who sounded like a completely different person from how she was minutes ago. Did the devil force some cookies into her or something? "But... I'll fight her with you. Calm down or I'll take you down myself. Rage makes the best fighter weak."

((IT IS DONE. This was a crazy reply. Waaaaaayyy too much going on at once to focus on whatthehelliwasgoingtowrite. But it's here now. LET US BEGIN AGAIN))

Kaito grinned up at Hikari and her excitement, "Yeah, yeah I'm coming! Geez, this thing is as big as a private jet! Maybe bigger! Who woulda thought from a place that seems to be..." he trailed off, eyes shooting up to the sky, "What the..." he strained his vision to figure out what exactly he was seeing, but his eyes widened as realization dawned on him. Hikari's scream to take cover was one he didn't need a second thought to follow. He slammed his foot to the ground and brought up a wall of ice to block the incoming shockwave and wall of heat.

Natsuki hit the deck with her family, pulling the other two close as the wave hit them and she gritted her teeth. When Shizuru bagen calling out orders her hands clamped over Toshi's shoulder and she nodded, "Right! Shizuru be careful, you hear?" she called as her partner flew off, "Toshi come on let's go," she urged, pulling her son back towards the school, "You soldiers go and assist with the injured in the square and control the situation! I'll be down to assess the damage shortly!"

Kaito's head was spinning from the attack but when he heard Hikari call out he grinned, "Now you're talking! Action is more suited for me anyways!" he called, rushing off towards the site of the attack. About time we get to show them what's we're made of! 'Sides, it'd be good to see what Reika's got up her sleeve too.

Natsuki rushed into the building with her son and knelt before him, "Listen Toshi, you have to stay here alright? It's not safe outside and I have to go help Shizuru-mama. Can I count on you to stay Toshi?" she asked, eyes serious, "Because you have to stay put okay? We'll be back soon alright? I promise," she swiftly kissed his forehead and sprinted out, "Stay here okay?" she called out one last time before rushing out to the site of the attack, "Materialize!"

Natsuki surged up into the air as her robe appeared and sped towards where the children and her partner had headed.

Kaito finally reached the battle scene and stopped dead in his tracks. “Damn! All this rubble…How many people got caught in the crossfire…?” he gritted his teeth, scrambling over a large pile of building, searching for his two companions who had got there much faster than he had. Already he could feel his chest scream in protest from the long run, but he wasn’t about to get outshone by the girls. “Ah! Hikari-cha-” he finally caught sight of the girl with the small family, but his words stopped short as the mother’s head was severed. His breath died in his throat and his eyes widened. What? Did that seriously just happen? Did that lady just seriously…

Natsuki appeared on the scene behind Kaito the moment Monica began to talk, “Monica?! But-She’s dead!”

Kaito gritted his teeth and balled his fists tightly, rushing towards the now orphaned two girls and Hikari, “Hey, Hikari-chan…can you keep her preoccupied for a while? I’ll get these kids and any other people out of the way. I’ll take care of it okay?” he turned to the two girls and took his vest off and draped it over the two of them, “Hey,” he called in a soft voice, “Come on, I’m gonna get you out of here alright? Come here,” he ushered, pulling them into his arms and standing up. Noticing Shizuru in the air he called out to her, “Oi! Shizuru-san! Can you help me get any injured out of the way? I can ice their wounds, but I need help getting them around. Let’s leave to fighting to the girls for a bit!” he called, rushing away from where Hikari and Monica were about to square off.

Hikari…Don’t do anything crazy now, okay? I hope Reika can keep her sane until I finish with this at least… he squeezed the girls’ in his arms and bit and gave them a small smile, “It’s gonna be okay now, alright? I’ve got you.”

When Toshi first heard Hikari to get down, he felt himself being pushed down to the ground by Natsuki and he immediately covered his ear when the first explosion struck the city. In all his life, Toshi had seen his mother's fight but to see something like this happen in the 5 years of his life, Toshi could only have one emotion going through him right now: absolute terror. He then snapped out of his fear as he heard Shizuru instruct Natsuki to take him to safety. As Natsuki took him towards the school, he took one last look at Shizuru as she changed into her otome robes.

'Shizuru-mama,'

Toshi then looked at Natsuki as she told him to stay in the school for his own safety. Too afraid to speak, Toshi simply nodded his head and watched as Natsuki changed into her robes and rushed off to battle. Toshi wanted to protest but he couldn't help but remember his dream the previous night. He remembered watching someone kill his mothers right in front of him.

'Natsuki-mama,'

He just stood there as a few Corals gathered around him in their robes, acting as his protection while they watched the battle unfold.

Meanwhile, both Maria Graceburt and Arika had changed into their robes and rushed off to the battle. When Maria arrived, she too was stunned to see Monica alive and well.

"Monica Julen?" She muttered breathlessly.
