It's not. Even Chie made some reference in Zwei connecting Shizuru Viola and Anh Lu together. Let's just say, Anh can be a "bigger sister" than Big Sister Shizuru.

(every one says "EWWWW!!!", but really, then i first saw My-HiME, i though Nagi had a really big "thing" for Mai, so thats where that one came from. And the other one came from something someone said one time XD)

XD And how every one LOVES SIZXNAT, so it would be even more "yuck" if Natsuki and NAGI were together(i also kind of thought of NagiXNatsuki because of how much Nagi flrits with her, ya' know?)

(( Oh yeah, especially in Natsuki no Prelude where Nagi gets up close and personal. ;3 Sorta. To be honest, Natsuki can be shipped with anyone because of her diverse character. The majority just want her to stick to Shizuru. Kinda boring after a while. ^^; ))

Natsuki no Prelude is a prequel/sequel to the Mai-HiME anime series. It's a light novel that was include in the Mai-HiME artbooks, so it's not a fanfiction. It's official. But, my most favorite canon ship, would have to be Nagi Dai ArtaiXArashi Dai Artai! SO CUTE! I love that Manga, most favorite ever! Even tho they were brother and sister, i still think there cute!
(favorite panle was chaper 7, pg. 19, the last two made me say "Awww" out loud, no joke!)
