HiME vs Otome. Who will win?

So let's pretend that somehow, all the HiMEs were transported to Otome-verse. And for some reason, the HiMEs have to fight their Otome counterparts. Why? Maybe they needed to defeat them in order to return back to HiME-verse? [shrugs] I have no idea. I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

In any case, the HiMEs have to fight their Otome counterparts. My question for you guys is... who do you think will win? Let's keep in mind that CHILDs are allowed in this fight, as they are part of the HiME powers.

Comment on one pair, or on all of them, if you are feeling particularly verbose :)

Kuga vs Kruger?
Fujino vs Viola?
HiME-Tokiha vs Otome-Tokiha?
Yuuki vs Zhang?
Sugiura vs Aswad-Midori?
Mikoto vs Cat-Goddess?
Higurashi vs Soir?
Munakata vs Huit?
Sanada vs Steinberg?
HiME-Okuzaki vs Otome-Okuzaki?

As Yukino and Mashiro (or was it Fumi?) does not have a fighting counterpart, they are excluded from this. Alyssa too, since her counterpart is a BIRD, and she wasn't part of the original 12.

Kuga vs Kruger?

Kuga. Kruger has worse aim than even Kuga.

Fujino vs Viola?

Viola. More experiance and can beat Fujino even FASTER than Armitage could.

HiME-Tokiha vs Otome-Tokiha?

That's a good question.

Yuuki vs Zhang?

...You sure they wouldn't say fuck it and go get some alcohol? I think they'd rather laugh at the others fight.

Sugiura vs Aswad-Midori?

Ya know, all Suguira would have to do is hold out till Aswad's 'child' went away due to that stone in her hand breaking...

Mikoto vs Cat-Goddess?

I decree they are the same person, due to the fact both have the HiME symbol. Therefore this is null-n-void for me.

Higurashi vs Soir?

...Soir.

Munakata vs Huit?

Munakata. I think she's smarter than Huit and would be able to take down the crazy Maki Maki girl if she plays her cards right, but it could go either way.

Sanada vs Steinberg?

Sanada. Steinberg is pretty useless.

HiME-Okuzaki vs Otome-Okuzaki?

HiME. Otome Okuzaki has no real powers, HiME Okuzaki by default.

And the Kikukawa vs. Armitage... I don't think Armitage could bare to hurt ANY version of Yukino, and Yukino would be to timid to fight Armitage. I think Armitage/Chrysant would be trying to show Kikukawa (ten bucks says Haruka is with her xD) how to admit her feelings to Haruka Suzushiro.

Also...

Just... Mashiro Kazahana meeting Windbloom. That's be hilarious.

but Kruger only fired what, 3 times in all of Otome? 1 deflected off another shot, 1 jsut flat out missed, and i can't remember the other/s.

Lol, I like to think that for short-ranged attacks, Kruger likes to swing her cannon around like a giant club. (I don't see how else she's be able to attack short-range. XD)

using her fists and feet with skill and precision Razz

lol. i honestly think in hand to hand combat, Kruger wins hands down. although that is excluding Duran. but Duran wouldn't be able to take too many shots from that cannon. and Krugers Robe extends and can grab thing (possibly slice too? can't remember). so that could do some damage to Duran as well.

Also, they're a pretty even match, I think. It could go either way.

Umm. You just have to read the Mai Otome manga to see who wins ö.ö Well, atleast most of them are in there :0 ~~It was kinda stupid, but pss.~~

In short: I have no idea who would win °_° But that's always the case when it comes to question like this one ö.ö

In the manga, their personalities were a little different, so I don't think it's an accurate representation. ^-^;

My personal opinion, of course. :D

But if the Kruger hits, then there's nothing left.

I'm not so sure about the bad aim, but the huge cannon would at least make her less agile than Kuga, flying robe powers or not. Using the cannon as a club would be something though XD

i honestly think in hand to hand combat, Kruger wins hands down.

Agreed, Kuga has some nice moves but Kruger would definitely be better trained for combat.

Fujino vs Viola?

Yeah, Viola > Fujino, and probably even Kiyohime can't change that. Unless Fujino snaps... that could get interesting... although Viola probably also has the power to snap if someone threatens the Kruger.

Yuuki vs Zhang?

Yuuki wouldn't stand a chance. She's just not there yet.

Mikoto vs Cat-Goddess?

They'd end up eating both the Mais' ramen and then take a nap.

Munakata vs Huit?

I believe in the power of MakiMaki! @@@ Huit wins. She's like Munakata's even more evil twin, and if evil always wins, then even more evil wins even more.

Wow, there is A LOT to say here as I have quite a great history in VS. deathmatch debates. Our next podcast show will focus on battles within the Mai-Series AND battle against other series, so I'll save my answers until that show is done. :)

Lately it feels like I've been the only one who thought that always nice to see someone who agree's made my night at least.

Also very interested in the opnions of those in this thread cause I wanna know how strong to make Dark Core Shizuru so that she is a match for the Otome and... MANshiro(ugh just thinking about him leaves a bad taste in my mouth) while avoiding making her a mary sue or rather villian sue.

As far as who would win with the hime vs otome I can't really say I'm biased towards the hime so yeah can't give a clear opinion either way.

Kuga vs Kruger?
kuga. okay if kruger would hit her, kuga (or duran) would be down. but kruger has a huge handicap with that big-bad-gun of hers in a oneVSone battle. she needs some time to position and fire (the 3 seconds contdown). kuga is much more agile with her two guns and can shoot right away without waiting, so she wouldn't give kruger the time to preparte the shoot. kuga just has to command duran to shoot. so kuga/duran have would win against kruger a la: always keep shooting - it will be down eventually!

Fujino vs Viola?
now that's a good question. but i think viola. true both can attack in closet combat and out if the distance. but viola has the benefit of her robe. and kiyohime wouldn't stand a chance against her, if she attacks from the distance since kiyo is just deathly in closet combat. and fujino has no robe so she would loose against viola after her child is down.

HiME-Tokiha vs Otome-Tokiha?
i think the only one who would really lose is the landscape around them, cause this would end up in a burning hell! but i don't know which of the girls would win or loose.

Yuuki vs Zhang?
i think they are pretty equal. but i guess zhang would win. don't quite know why, it's just a feeling. ^^

Sugiura vs Aswad-Midori?
wohoo. the only fight with child VS child, too. but i would guess asward-midori. she's the more serious fighter and has probably more experience. hey, she even could stand her ground against viola!

Mikoto vs Cat-Goddess?
if the fight would be looking like who-can-eat-more-ramen it would be an endless match!

Higurashi vs Soir?
don't know honestly...

Munakata vs Huit?
huit! the power of MAKI-MAKI! really what useful had munakata done the whole HiME-series aside from beeing a big pain in the ass, which is not even a useful thing?! :suspect:

Sanada vs Steinberg?
sanada! cause she has the power of god! sweatdrop

otome-okuzaki, cause more fight experience i guess.

Kuga probably has an edge in her sheer determination and dual weapons with no charge time

Viola only due to supersonic flight being effective against melee combat

Viola. From what I remember of Otome, she would be able to win against Fujino. Unless if Fujino snaps and someone hurts her Natsuki.
