I prefer the Otome opening-songs overall in the Mai series...I don't know why, they just seem to appeal to me more ouo

But saying that, I love the character songs for Mai-HiMe |DDD

The music of Yuki Kajiura normally reflect the series it's based on. Mai-Otome is larger in scope, larger in story and larger in cast. When you hear songs like the 'MATERIALIZE' theme, there's a sense of great epicness in a world protected by women with strength and power of Greek Gods.

I wish there were extended versions of a lot of the score, because songs like Duran Shoukan and Yamiyo no Prologue are gorgeous but terribly short.

There's a version of Sei Otome no Inori that Fiction Junction did live, and that still blows me away. I listen to it practically every day.

^_^ Yuki Kajiura is a music goddess. I can't imagine any other composer giving Mai-HiME the epic score we know and love today. Hmm, except maybe John Williams. X'D Sunrise would have to pay him a shitload of money...

Well, I must say that I LOVE Yuki Kajiura's work.
Her work in Hime and Otome is simply awesome.
I have some tracks that are on my top list among my favorite Kajiura's works.

Now, regarding Zwei and Sifr, I don't remember much of the music.... XD
