Are there things back in the day you miss, and things today that drive you nuts? For example:

"Back in my day, drama was when that boy stole my crayons."

or

I'm not a smoker, but I have noticed the price jump over the years. Even in other countries I've visited. My gf is a smoker and I'm guessing cigarettes packs were cheaper in her youth too.

Yeah well, I think pretty much anything was cheaper, but so far the cigarettes is what's pissing me off the most... XD

Back in my day, candy machines were only 50 cents, not 4 dollars :shock:

Back in my day, anime was drawn with cel animation. Everything looked so gritty, even in early mahou shoujo.

Now everything is clean and dull. Even Mai-HiME is a little guilty of this, just not as much as the Shonen titles (with the exception of Soul Eater). Luckily that was fixed in Mai-Otome with a more vast world.

Once you got to LOTR, things go downhill. When you can make a film based solely on the art of "digital film making", well, some of the magic is lost. ^^;

Catching Fire has momentum though, seeing how The Hunger Games was a pretty solid film.
