Sweet Little Devil Manga

Well, this particular title I must say is one my favorites.
Today I recommend you Sweet Little Devil by Nanzaki Iku.

Yep, that's right, Nanzaki Iku is the creator of the DOROPANDA TOURS doujinshi featuring Natsuki and Shizuru.

This one is basically a compilation of the stories he has published in the Yurihime Wildrose Anthologies. There's only one new story and an Omake featuring Sayo and Ritsuko, the couple that was features in the wildrose volumes.

If you have read the wildrose, there's no need to tell you what's about.
However if you haven't is basically the story of two girls (Sayo and Ritsuko) that were childhood friends and meet again in Highschool one is a freshman and the other a senior. They start to have a relationship. And how it develops, and each chapter delighten us with our nice dose of yuri smex.
And again, I don't complain, that's what we are always looking for in anime and manga.
Anyway....

If you are familiar with the TOURS doujinshi, you'll enjoy the art, and Nanzaki-sensei is a master doinf the smexy scenes. (I personally love them)
Is just one volume so if you are fan of this author, it's a must in your collection. But again, if you already got the wildrose you're not missing much in the compilation. Your choice.

I really enjoy reading this one, because you can see how they worry (but also enjoy) the small things and how they want to continue being there by the side of the one they love.

Gotta love Sayo and Ritsuko <3 (and the smut, which is the only reason I read it in the first place ;D) They're really cute as well though, and of course Nanzaki-sans artwork makes it all the more appealing.

I also recommend this to anyone who hasn't read it yet :3

Oh yes, the smut is one big factor as to why one picks this manga. Razz

But really, Sayo and Ricchan are really cute, and Ricchan is a total tsundere. :3

I own all the manga! \^^/

I just woke up to I'm too tired to think properly, but I love the devil designs. Not quite the Disgaea, but they're unique, which I really like. ^^

The main couple are adorable, especially the angel. <3 One of my favorite scenes are the cooking scene when the angel has to test the devil's food, and the angels has to try really hard not to do anything good for the devil so nothing bad befalls the devil. <3

I think you're confusing this manga with another one. ^^;
I know there is another manga with the very same title but I'm not referring to that one in this review.

Yeah! I agree with Koi, give it a try and if you don't enjoy it even a little bit, then Koi will eat my non-existent hat too.

I vaguely remember reading this some time ago. And if I remember right, there's only a few chapters of this, right? And it usually has some sort of smexytime scene in it, right?

Well, overall, I like the art, but I would have liked to see more of different interactions. A lot was left to be inferred, and while I'm usually okay with that, I like my main characters to have more depth. Well, whatever. It was only a few chapters, so I can only complain after more is released... if more will be released. >.>;;

There are only a few chapters yeah, and yes, it's mostly sexytimez lol It would have been nice if there were more chapters I agree, even without the smut. I don't know if Nanzaki-san is still working with these characters or not...

So far I know, Nanzaki-sensei is not continuing with there to for now.
His latest work is I'm not mistaken was in the former Yurihime wildrose now named Girls Love and in the new Queens Blade manga.
However, I remember reading that the author is fond of Sayo and Ritsuko, so I wouldn't doubt there will be more of them in the future.
But considering the omake that is at the very end of this volume, it makes me wonder if it will happen...

Well, it's not that surprising. After all, Nanzaki-sama started drawing ShizuNatsu doujinshi, so they stick with a style.

I don't really mind they look alike, better for me. I think of it as a ShizuNatsu AU. Razz

If you can get the manga or somewhere were the FULL tankou is scanned, you can see an Omake of these two where they are already living together. It's quite nice. :3
There are also 2 mini omakes, in one Sayo shares the cafeteria table with Ritsuko. And in the other Ritsuko is remembering when they were children.

I'll try to look for them.

The omake where they are in the cafeteria cracks me up every time XDDD And I've read the one about when they were kids before too <3

I think that's so great about Nanzaki Iku stuff, even if it's short I think the characters are always believable and feel real ö.ö So I think there is pretty much depth in them, we just aren't 'allowed' (as in there is only that much that exists of those certain characters : D) to see and get to know more about them.

On another note: Nanzaki Iku is male?? O___O

Yeah, I agree.
In every story, Nanzaki tries to show us a bit of the past of the characters. It really helps with the mini plot.

I love it when I find something from Nanzaki, he/she (? hahaha) is one of my favorites!

I liked a lot Sweet Little Devil and all the oneshots of this adorable couple (yeah, I love smut :3 haha) but I wish someday Ritsuko would take charge of the situation Akira Okuzaki

I think I read something somewhere (yeah, super specific I know >.>) that said Nanzaki was male...I always thought of them as being male anyway Razz

I too would like to see Ritsuko take charge...but for some reason I doubt that will ever happen XD
