Bad Animation Days in Mai-HiME and Mai-Otome

Is it just me and Kona, or does Yukino's freckles keep disappearing and reappearing throughout the anime series? ^^;;; This would be a good time to discuss any animation goofs...

Yes! Yukino's freckles are more ninja than Akira!

As for other animation goofs, can we say ELF EARS!?

It may not be a SUNRISE botch, but haven't you noticed Nao's hair is really short in some shots, then extra longer in others? I'll dig up some examples soon...unless someone beats me to it. XD

That's because her hair seems a little, er, layered is it? Maybe not that, but from the front it seems short because the rest like comes to a point at the back xD

Anime of old had a serious problem with consistency. The anime of today doesn't face that problem since it's all done on the computer like in the Mai-series.

Let us never forget that infamous shot of Shizuru Fujino from episode 24.



I agree with Dye. How can Sunrise take one of their most beautiful characters ever and briefly turn her into the most hideous.

And the Shizuru shot... It looks like she just saw the Natsuki pic!

Shizuru one is gold; had me going through that moment frame by frame while laughing hysterically. Rest is nitpicking. Some details will be left out in scenes where the character is not in focus or view is far away.

Edit: Actually i have a good one. When Joseph bends down in the basement after Alyssa makes orphans there's another Joseph behind him. Pretty cool.

Yukino freckles are pretty inconsistent actually.

Edit2: Actually how does everybody not notice Akira's breasts in her school uniform, they're so obvious and there's no way a slender boy like that would have giant man-pecks!
