Are you a Natsuki Kuga or a Natsuki Kruger?

Dude, you're 18! By next summer, you'll be more than qualified to join me in a three-day anime madness. Just remind your parents that I will take care of you, pay for everything (except any goodies you wanna buy at the con, YOU must do that lol) and return you home safely with a pink ribbon on. :D

It started out that I liked Kuga better, but Kruger has jumped into my favorite spot. Aside from the character costumes, of course. (Which, they should've put someone else in charge of costumes for Mai-Otome because they are all so UGLY.)

I think Kruger was less explored so I can give her whatever kind of personality and background I want. As a fanfiction writer/imaginer, this is a major plus for me. However, this also makes my opinion partial because I don't like the same Kruger from the anime/manga, I like my imagination's version. For example, in my mind right now, she was a major-play-former-hood-rat turned headmistress who is still trying to get used to the sophisticated life. Before that, she was a wannabe mexican.

But, going by their true character, I liked anime Kuga better than anime Kruger, but I liked manga Kruger over manga Kuga (mostly because I really didn't like Mai-Otome's anime much)

At last I can comment on this. You know, that's another reason why the term Multiverse is appropriate for Mai-fandom. It's not just the anime and manga, it's the fanfiction you write. Yes YOU reading right now. You created a universe of your own and depending on how the story goes, it connects itself to the canon stories that were animated/published. Many Mai-fans prefer their own (let's use...) Natsuki or perhaps ShayP's Natsuki. It's not about who's canon, it's about who we connect with. Fanfiction writers/authors want to take an established character who wasn't explored very well in certain incarnations and add their own flavor to it.

Yanno, it's actually all very complicated for me. Because I'm rational and logical like Kruger. I'm not exactly rash (impulsive, not rash) or easily irritated like Kuga. Rather, I'm usually calm and collected and try to look at everything as objectively as humanly possible. And I tend to look at the big picture, rather than following my own agenda.

But I'm like Kuga with the whole lone wolf thing. I find it hard to trust people, and I keep all my friends at arms length. It's disconcerting for me when someone knows me more than I want them to. People also usually never know when I'm going through a rough time, because I never ask anyone for help or support or whatever. I think that's what irked my ex the most. Was that she always wanted to be there for me, but I never let her. So yeah, in that regards, I'm like a Kuga, no?

OH! OMG! I totally thought it was one you liked more! Hahaha, wow, blonde moment to the extreme right there...but I guess I'm more like...probably Kuga only because I tend to just rush into things without really thinking it through unless I have something that I plan to do in mind, other than that though, I don't think I have much in common with either haha. Wow, I'm so retarded lol, this is why I need to read and not skim haha.

No worries, Miss Kara. Your personality resembles that of Miss Natsuki Kuga. She does tend to rush into things more than the cranky Headmistress of Garderobe. Manga Natsuki was a tad more rash than the anime, in my opinion. Only difference is, I've never seen you call anyone "Slave-Kun".

Definitely, pro-Kruger. She's a more interesting character to me than Kuga though. Plus, she is more open to Shizuru than that of Kuga. I admit that I like her because she is closer to Mai than I've expected.

As I mention already in some other threads: I am a Natsuki. Never thought, if a Kuga or a Kruger. You know why?? Because that's too easy to answer, I am a Natsuki Kuga.

Yeah, there's a rich history between the two. I'm not a MaiNat shipper, though I can understand why it would work in Mai-Otome.

Definitely Kruger. She's badass like Kuga, but she doesn't isolate herself. Also, she's much more open to Shizuru, and she puts that brain of hers to good use.
Though, personality-wise, I'm more like Kuga. Skipping or shitting around in classes and isolating myself.

I am definatly a Kuga I have a hard time trusting others because sometimes I'm stabbed in the back by the people I most hold dear.

Well I'd say I'm a Kruger.
I'm calm and collected, but easily agitated and embarassed....and people should be wary when I'm angry.

I'm pleased with how people prefer Kruger lately.

But of course, I know how to respect (not saying Natsuki's rude, but rather saying sometimes i show a little kindness). And I don't really try to get close to others.

[in our country, highschool students, like me nao, seem to be more mature in a manner of understanding. so if i'm 14 nao, but some say i'm 11 :oops:, but the things we study requires cramming, or just a proper time table. just imagine in our third year, you'll have chemistry, physics, trigonometry, college algebra, analytical geometry and some other branch of mathematics i forgot all together.
