My-Otome 0~S.ifr~ coming to North America!

Old news. Didn't post it at the time because I was more thrilled about K-ON being licensed. Had to clear my notes, so here it is:

The North American anime distributor Bandai Entertainment has announced at its Otakon panel on Saturday that it licensed two series from the anime studio Sunrise: My-Otome 0~S.ifr~ and The Girl Who Leapt Through Space (Sora o Kakeru Shōjo/Sora Kake Girl). Bandai Entertainment also revealed that Bang Zoom! Entertainment will dub the previously licensed K-ON! anime series into English.

The three-episode original video anime series My-Otome 0~S.ifr~ serves as a prequel to the My-Otome television anime series. The story centers on Lena Sayers (played by Aya Endo) and Sifr Fran (Ami Koshimizu) — the mothers of My-Otome's main characters Arika Yumemiya and Nina Wáng, respectively.

My-Otome character designer Hirokazu Hisayuki returns not only to design the 2008 prequel, but also to direct it. Bandai Entertainment already released the previous My-Otome projects and the related My-HiME television anime series

I'm curious to hear the voice work performance for Lena. ^_^ I will pick up my copy on day one and review everything. Especially the dub track.

Years before the events of My-Otome, there was a secret princess who would one day become the queen of Windbloom. Because members of the royal Windbloom bloodline can unlock the hidden powers of the old technology, Sifr Fran is pursued by Aswad and Schwarz, and even the Meister Otomes of Garderobe are under orders to kill her if she falls into enemy hands. Meister Otome Lena Sayers and her Otome friends must disobey orders if they are to save Sifr, but first Lena must release her true HiME powers with the help of the Blue Sky Saphire gem.

;p Nothing beats the Japanese version, I get this already. However, not making a dub track makes the DVD seemed rushed like an Anime Works release. >_>
