Writing for chapter 11 and browsing Wattpad at the same time. I feel like Dye's eye for prose has been embedded in my head, I find myself changing these people's sentences and making them ridiculously elaborate because they look too basic and seeing them so plain pisses me off.

Here's an example:

"...was alive with its villagers and a few other people."

What my mind turns it into:

" ...breathed, teeming with a energy all it's own as children could be seen running down it's streets and swerving through back alleys, some with chubby, plump fingers or skinny, occasionally bony appendages, clutching various sweets, a toy or two making an appearance once in a blue. These little ones dashed around in wild excitement and away from the distant calls of their mothers and fathers, mixed with agitated yells, cheerful smiles, even a few giggles and murmuring of youthful days gone by in the past from bystanders, both near or far. Such was the first true sign of the festival getting underway, marked by the approval of innocence."

Just got home from the theaters. Edge of Tomorrow is such an amazing film! It's saddening to hear about it's low attendance. Then again, it is competing with that Divergent chick as a cancer patient. ^^;
