RWBY Series by Monty Oum

*putting this here because I have no idea where to put a topic about webseries*


RWBY is a cg-animated web series created by the Rooster Teeth Productions animations studio. If you're confused, just know that Rooster Teeth created the Red vs Blue series for the HALO games, and I think they made the animations for Halo too, so yea you can see their quality. There are...what I think like 10 people? That worked on this project, and it's amazing how they can produce such a good series with so little people.

Summary from Wiki coz mine sucks

The story takes place in the world of Remnant, which is filled with supernatural forces and shadowy creatures known as the "Creatures of Grimm". Prior to the events of the series, mankind waged a battle of survival against the Grimm before discovering the power of a mysterious element called Dust, which allowed them to fight back against the monsters. In the present day, Dust is used to power magical abilities and weapons. Those who use these abilities to battle the Grimm are known as Huntsmen or Huntresses. The series focuses on four girls, each with her own unique weapon and powers. Together, they form a team at Beacon Academy in the city of Vale, where they are trained to become Huntresses alongside other similar teams.

Monty Oum is known for his awesome fighting scenes choreography and cool weaponries, so if you like awesome fighting scenes please give this series a shot. Each episode is pretty short, but they're really good at fleshing out the rich characters in this series. Honestly, you won't regret it.

I myself got into this fandom because of my two friends and am currently shipping Red and White together aka WHITE ROSE FTW. And since I ship a lot I can't really list them here due to over-excitement,  but yea! You get the point!!

But seriously, I like them all, like Natsukichan said xDD They're all so awesome and I love everyone and their sexy weapons, even vomit-boy! xDD The charas I have little love for is Cardin so far...but I'm not sure. If he becomes a good guy in volume 2 my opinion might change.

yeah, blake has her harem right now. Everyone loves blake after all XD her kitty side is fun for jokes, from the pointy laser, catnip, and a lot more of cat characteristics. lol love monchrome!!! all the arts are beautiful, I can't help but love monochrome D: well, if there is monochrome, then there will be enabler or yangxruby

My favorite characters are Yang as I love her upbeat attitude and powerhouse style, though my current head cannon is she is hiding some dark past, and Blake who got a ton of development in the last two episodes.

Though I do want to state I don't think I hate any characters, yet there is some contempt to Team CRDL

But yea, Team Cardinal are a bunch of bullies, and it's not hard to hate them. Seems like their only existence was to be that one bunch of antagonist we'd love to see beaten by the protags ^^

Aside from team RWBY, I find myself liking Team Juniper lately. I mean, not as intensely as RWBY, but they're charming in their own ways. Esp Nora omg, she's the physical embodiment of Thor herself, pummeling that Death Scythe like it's whack-a-mole *shakes head* damn

I love her personality. She's calm, smart, witty, and supportive. She notices when her friends are in trouble and offers a helping hand, and she does all this discreetly... knowing when to keep someone's private matters private. :3

But my favorite pairing right now is bumblebee. I can't agree with the canon that is Jaune/Pyrrha. Not yet. Not until I see what Juane is made of. ^-^;

I also can't get "I burn", which is Yang's song, out of my head. The album version though.

I like Pyrrha too though! In fact, the first time I watched RWBY, Pyrrha was the one who took my attention first. I really like how kind she is, and the way she treat Jaune is so gentle, makes it seem like she has a crush on him even! I love her weapon especially, oh man, the way it changes form from a spear to a rifle-- goddarn, the sound effect give me chills. After a while Weiss and Blake took her spot as my top faves tho haha, but I still like her and the rest of JNPR.

Jaune/Pyrrha is kinda forced imo, I mean I can see that Pyrrha has a crush on Jaune, but the way he treats her is just the same as he treats anyone else. I'm not on that ship (yet?). Though Bumblebee and White Rose otoh...

And you got me addicted to that song xDDD *totally not regretting it.

Aside from that song, I really love RLRP2 and Gold. I love Gold, Yang being the awesome big sister that she is to Ruby gave me feels.

I watched all 4 trailers, this looks really good, though Yellow's hair reminds me of Panty from PSG, and Shana from SnS when she fights lol. I think I'll try watching this.

I have heard the japanese fandub yea, it's so...weird but it's also good in a way?
