There should be an anime short of Midori/Youko, Yukari/Nyamo and Rin/Mimi meeting then challenging each other with alcohol XD That'd be so awesome XD

And then Youko and Yukari (from Azumanga, right?) would have a driving race. >3 I don't know the last two. o-o

I put my money on Rin/Mimi combo. Those two have been drinking for centuries. They have a much higher alcohol tolerance than the others. XP

It's always amazed me that Youko is a nurse or works with biotechnology and drinks as heavily as she does plus smokes. Try practicing what you preach, doc. <3

I dunno~ There's almost a trope for badass nurses. Youko just happens to be the smexiest character in the Mai-series (in my humblest of opinions~), so she makes top of the list. P;
I almost always find the nurse characters interesting (if they're even given roles within the anime/manga).

Almost all anime I've seen, there's always that badass nurse XD Shamefully, I saw a nurse-themed hentai one time, and I admit, one of the nurse characters is kind of cool XD Plus I do like her character design >.> The Japanese and their nurses lol
