Mai-HiME Anime: "WHAT IF's"?!

Just like it's manga version here, this is a What If thread for the Anime version.

Feel free to post your "what if" to the Mai-HiME anime, and we'll start discussing it here in this thread. If you have another, just keep on posting to keep this thread going.

I'll give the first discussion topic:

What if that orphan didn't attack the girls during that Iron-Chef-parodied cooking show, would the male judges (Tate, Reito, Ishigami-sensei and Sakomizu-sensei) still faint as the cause of bad cooking by the end of the episode? Natsuki Kruger2

What if instead of Reito being the Obsidian Lord, it was Takumi instead? Would Takumi be a better OL?

What is Yukino was actually a gamer? She carried around her decked-out laptop and played MMOs everywhere she went. Would make the Student Council scenes a bit more interesting. XD

If you ask me, I believe that Reito would make a better villian than Takumi.
Takumi is physcially too weak and he would have to require fighting skills.
To me, it would just seem boring if OL Takumi was just sitting on his throne throughout the whole finale.

True, but what if he was weak before the OL took over and after, he was all strong and almighty?

And clever and witty and all things that Reito was not? (thinking of manga Takumi now) >.>;;

Manga Takumi was a cruel little bastard. Not to mention a lot more powerful than anime Reito by miles.

What if Midori was involved in a major storyline where she occasional ran off to visit Youko. Her secret romantic lover. AND as an added bonus, what if Youko turned out to be a HiME towards the end? How would Midori react to that, especially in the Carnival?

EXA Reito's Obsidian form was creepy as hell though with that slasher smile of his speaking of which I've got a another question for the vs thread...

On a diffrent note what if Kamikirimusi was a hime. For those who don't know Kamikirimusi was a character designed by the same artist of the My-Hime/Otome animes. The lil' Mikoto-esque oni made her debut in Soul Caliber IV using Nightmare's style. Mai-HiME Anime: "WHAT IF's"?! Kamikirimusi

She'd probably stick with Mai and fight the OL with Mai and the rest of the posse. Plus, the whole carnival would have been done differently, because Mikoto would have never killed Shiho's CHILD and all. So yeah... it'll be interesting to see how things would have gone if that happened. :D

That's a tricky question. On one hand, it would of prevented her (depending on how much she can resist the Obsidian Lord's pendant) from attacking Mai and the other HiME. On the other, the concept of 'love' could be twisted by Reito further, causing her to think love is important enough to sacrifice her own friends over.

The series would be a long lot better! o_o Shizuru issuing the Carnival would leave Mai-HiME no choice than to be a ShizNat love story. The Carnival would all be for Natsuki. If she somehow defeats Mai Tokiha and Kagutsuchi in the final round, it would be interesting to see what Natsuki chooses to do to Shizuru. Stop her or sacrifice each other to end all future bloodsheds.

Ratings would skyrocket with the mainstream yuri community gaining interest in the Mai-Series again. The drama CDs provided a lot of character study/development. As for Natsuki no Prelude, no comment there. It would set up Mai-HiME Episode 1 nicely by providing loads of backstory. Natsuki no Prelude could work either as a movie or three part OVA, imo. Seeing Natsuki rejecting Takeda and accepting Shizuru in the finale will make a lot of fans happy. Understatement of the year, I know.
