Love Flag*Girls! manga
I don't want to go back to the pokeball just yet. So I'm here with another manga recommendation.
Love Flag*Girls! by Takahashi Itsumi.
This story is packed with humor, smut, and a tad bit of action and drama.
The plot is about a girl called Lucia that decides to join a group of pirates lead by a young girl called Eliana. Lucia only joins them so she can find the whereabouts of a treasure they stole from her mother long ago. But she never expected what awaited for her when joining the crew.
It's a bit less serious than the other work I've read from the author, but no less enjoyable.
Sometimes it bordered the line of silliness in some situations, and that may put some of you off. But just give it a chance and you may enjoy it.
And the smut parts here and there are a plus. :3
The art is quite simple and I think sometimes its a little bit strange. I don't know if it's only me but I feel that from time to time the arms look too large and thin. Even so, it is something that I can put aside to continue reading and enjoying this title.
Only one volume of pirate action that has been translated too!
Give it a try, and come back to share your thoughts. ^_^

Honest thoughts? I didn't like it at all. =/ I was ECSTATIC that there was finally a lesbian pirate manga and we get... cutsey-whatever stuff. Until I get pirates acting like pirates, I will continue to be on the search for a pirate-themed lesbian manga. In my mind, this one does not exist. >_<
If you're into cute, fluffy romantics, then go ahead with it. But I'm more of an action person and when I think pirates... I hope for action. =(

I forgot to mention that.
If you want an action packed pirate manga, this is not what you need....
This is pure fluff/smut stuff.
And honestly speaking, we need a commited author to reach what you are asking for in that type of manga. Being Yuri, I think they kinda underestimate the readers and think it is something they won't read....

This needs to be turned into a discussion board. XD

I didn't like it much either. The first chapters were quite interesting and nice but then... I had the feeling the mangaka rushed with the story. It was over pretty quickly and the ending was... (I won't mention the thing with whatever-she is-called's mother).
I know the mangaka from other shorter works (and the other manga Shezaei mentioned, which is, in my opinion, the best manga of the ones I read bythis artist) and I have to say I don't really read them for the story but for the smut (because the story feels always rushed to me and I always get the feeling it's just about the sex (more or less (see the other manga with this way too long name)), so what to say??Facit: If you want to read smut with a okay-story, read this manga or something ö.ö Which reminds me that I don't really like random sex-scenes just so that there is more sex in it (which is obviously kinda a lie because I read mangas like that anyway but I prefer a good story, good sex and when you get the feeling that the characters do really like/love each other, not just some random blubb blubb (which doesn't mean that I think that Lucia and Eliana didn't, but... I will just stop here; gah XD)).

XD
I'm the same. I try to read stories with good plot and good and lots and lots of smut. Which I must say, it's quite difficult to find.
Yeah, this story was a bit rushed at the end. And I kinda felt bad for the second in command. To me she loved her captain very much but in the end she was forever alone.

Well, I read this manga and I enjoyed it, but like you all are saying.. the story is not a masterpiece. But sure it is entertaining and funny, so I'd recommend it. Why not? The design of characters is good too :3
