Hello Everyone!

Hi there! Guess I'm a bit late for this but hey, better late than never right? I'm a long time lurker, it's just that I never got around to posting.

Being a huge Mai-series fan, I'm so pleased to find an entire forum dedicated to our beloved series! I hope this can be a nice place to discuss our love for this wonderful manga and anime.

You can call me Koromo. So umm... nice to meet you. I'm an avid anime/manga fan. I collect anime DVDs, figures, cds, posters, and manga. Some of my favourite anime are HiME/Otome, Angel Beats!, Madoka Magica, Saki, Akagi and Index/Railgun. I play video games and Riichi Mahjong. Sometimes I do translations and subbing, too.

As for my favorite HiME/Otome character(s), I like most of the characters more in the manga than the anime, I think. I don't exactly dislike the anime, it's a good adaptation I think, but I feel like the manga goes so much deeper into both character development and plot.

If I did have a favourite, though, it would probably be Nao or Nagi. Why? Well, I'm just a sucker for those sarcastic or manipulative and calculating kind of characters in anime in general...I mean it. I think I have become a fan for practically every character that at least loosely fits that personality type: Laura Stuart/Shokuhou Misaki(from Railgun/Index), Katsuragi Ryou(from Liar Game), Kyubey(from Madoka Magica), Akagi(from Akagi) and Yuri(Angel Beats!) just to name a few

My other top favorites would probably be Mashiro(for presenting us some decent character developments), Aoi, Natsuki, Mai and Arika.
