On June, my classes will start. So probably I wouldn't be be online for a time. Our classes, as said by my other friends, are hard now. I think I've mentioned this a lot of times

I just want some spoilers in my life... :lol: So if it's okay, please impart you knowledge on these subjects: (if it's okay with you. :D)

-Trigonometry
-College Algebra
-Analytical Geometry
-Physics
-Chemistry
-Advanced Statistics

I think they're the subjects I really have to put some effort on. :D

Oh thank you! What are your views on these subjects? Are they hard? On your opinion, which ones should I focus on? :)

Some will lead to others - knowledge of algebra, trig, and geometry will help once you get to calculus (which knowing is practically required for more practical applications such as physics - Newton invented calculus just to deal with Newtonian physics problems).

When you say "advanced statistics", how advanced are we talking here? Mean/median/mode stuff? Are you going to study hypothesis testing? Type I/Type II error? What about the Central Limit Theorem?

Whether or not they're hard really does depend on what kind of person you are. I'm more analytical: I tend to like facts and knowing that 2 + 2 always = 4.

Are these summer classes you're taking?

i see. :D nope, summer classes tend to bore me. and the last time i went to summer class, i forgot almost every lesson i've taken. so summer classes aren't that effective for me. though i do attend some saturday classes if i can't understand the lessons taken on weekdays. :D

in advanced statistics, i think we'll take a review from what is statistics upto probability and i've taken a quick scan on the book and here are the lessons we're taking:
-Probability
-Distributions of Random Variables
-Some Discrete Probability Distributions
-Normal Distribution
-Sampling Theory
-Estimation of Parameters
-Tests of Hypotheses
-Regression and correlation
-analysis of variance
-nonparametric statistics

that's all in general.

btw, do you have some notes on the said subjects on my first post? if it's okay, could you possibly share them? :D

I can probably help you with all of this. Well, chemestry not but the rest.

I might be able to help in Chemistry... everything else, not so much :)

I have pretty much to do the same stuff in statistics (only in german though) but numbers are numbers rigth. Same goes for mathematics. If you have any task that you can't solve, let me know
