Major Announcement: Meister System effective immediately on Mai-Multiverse Forum.

After recent talks with devoted MM members, I have decided to answer to a new system of forum control that will avoid confrontation and offer a chance to hostile/questionable members. Introducing the Meisters.

A step below global moderators (the current Columns), Meisters are users who spend a lot of time here and they will monitor the forum in each of it's different areas. The member chosen as Meister is MidnightPersona.

MidnightPersona - You know her as "Raven", she will closely follow and will be notified of all activity in our chatbox. Our most popular feature that allows you to chat directly to other Mai Multiverse members.

Our new WARNING system that will attach itself to the Meister is what I call "Three Steps". "Three Steps" will follow as such:

* - Any member who violates any current rule/guideline over and over, will be given a warning. The Meister will monitor this member until he or she is now mature enough to explore our community properly.

* - A repeat of INTENTIONAL violation/s will result in a second warning by a Column ONLY, including a two week ban.

* - If two week ban fails, I will personally contact member and let him/her know she is given a third warning.

Failure to communicate with all three rules will result in a permanent ban.

Because our Meister has proven themselves to be mature adults who can understand our general age group from 16-35, I want to place faith in their abilities, so they can work out any problem with a hostile member. All so a first warning can be prevented as best as humanly possible.

I admit, in the past we've had members who have done unforgivable things and were banned with our silent zero tolerance policy. I want to see if Mai-fans like them, in the future, can enjoy our community without prejudice.

Our Meister will wear this mark at all times in her signature:

Respect one another, I'm simply tired of the drama and damage our fandom as a whole has caused, and I no longer care about the 'who said this and that' anymore. All that matters is to continue sharing our love and this great series with others worldwide. We can do this without sacrificing who we really are and what's really important in life.

THE MAI-PORTAL IS HERE!

I have added the Portal feature to Mai-Multiverse Forum as a new promotional entrance to our forum and fandom as a whole! You can check it daily for recent news (like upcoming Otakon 2011 coverage, the spark I needed to debut the Mai-Portal) forum topics, polls, website links, who's the top poster of the day and "like" on your favorite social network sites. It still needs a bit of work, so wish me luck in that area. :)

XD Yeah, I made a boo boo and added the widgets onto the forum itself. They were removed, so the forum and portal can be two separate things. :) Those who want to focus just on the forum itself, save the page now. Simple as that!

The portal is pretty cool but I somehow can't get to the forum anymore. It always leads me back to the portal page

Lol the change took me by surprise. I opened the forum using my Iphone and, since the forum won't load (bad wifi inside theater), I kept logging in and out and in and out and when the page loaded up my first reaction was

"Holy s**t I broke the forum!"

and then I realized that its a new addition. orz. I failll.

Me like the portal tho'! xDD
