I might actually consider reading the manga if that was the case.

Now I got two one for the manga and one for the anime.

What if Manshiro DIDN't receive a robe and show up all the female characters?

And.

What if Natsuki's aim didn't suck?

Natsuki would have caused the end of the world as we know it!

What if Aoi was a coral instead of Mashiro's maid? (ANIME)

She and Chie would get their own spin off filled with various antics?... One could hope.

But in all seriousness if Aoi had a robe I could see her teaming up with Chie to be a badass duo.

What if Arika defeated Nina, causing her to have a comma? And what if Arika really did decide to no longer be an Otome?

Arika would blame herself each and every day until Nina awakens to tell her the opposite. If Arika quit being an Otome? Earl is doomed if a stronger threat than Yuna appears. Unless Ribbon-chan can pull off a miracle...

Even though Nina inevitably killed Erstin, there could've been a senario when Arika snapped, going on a rampage against Nina, using her full otome power.
However, Arika also might come to her senses and try to stop the killing blow with no avail. She would very much blame herself for Nina's comma.

Arika did snap and attacked Nina with full force, that didn't change. :) But I guess you're saying if Arika was blinded by her hatred for Nina all the way until episode 26? That would be something, Sunrise would have to make Arika less forgiving person which goes against her character. Imagine Anime Sailor Moon vowing to murder Galaxia after what she did to all the Sailor Senshi. O_O And yes, I draw some parallels between Sailor Moon Episode 200 and Mai-Otome Episode 26. In my mind, Arika vs. Nina is inspired by Usagi vs. Chaos/Galaxia. XD Now I'm rambling.

Yeah, that would seem off putting for Arika.
To me, that Erstin incident mirrors that of Takumi's death.
The tragic drama,The snap out, the rage, and the all out assult to destroy whoever commited the crime. However Mai was still at war with inner conflict until the finale, while Arika was the same but it gave her motivation to become better and stronger to protect her loved ones as well as coping to forgive Nina despite everything.
