(( I've had a little chat with NH2110 of deviantART fame and something interesting came up during our conversation. As I was commenting on her fanart, we both noticed simultaneously that Shizuru never really changed her hair style. I know Shizuru with her family's background (or what we can assume from it) is somewhat of a traditionalist. The following are the only sightings I can think of where she did fix her hair up differently:

Mai-HiME Episode 6: "The Passionate Age of 17 " "Moeru Junana-sai"

So my immediate question is, what would you do with Shizuru's hair? Leave is the way it is or can you do something better with it. Maybe I'm asking the wrong crowd since we have no female stylists here, nor gay men. XD Just use your imagination.))

Ahem, I will be giving my opinion on this! ((I really liked the episode 13 look she had, she looks absolutely stunning like that.))

I've always been...fond of the Bubuzuke's bangs. Though I wonder what she would look like if she grew them out and parted them with the rest of her hair equally down the middle.

Hrm...Too bad Setsuna isn't here-she's got a good eye for hair and clothing...

Perhaps she could pull it back into a bun? and grow her bangs aout a bit so she can sweep them to the side. That wouldn't look half bad. -nod-

am i the only one who would like to see shizuru with short hair? :/ not the dyke type hair. more like Tomoe Marguerite's hair only a bit shorter and done right. xD

(( Damn SUNRISE for not providing more angles so we can see her hairstyle properly. *shrugs* Don't expect anything less from the Orphan arc where Shizuru was irrelevant. ))

Ara..? like Yuuki Nao's hair then? that would be lovely but that doesn't suit Shizuru's face. too bad , eh? but Nao has better looking face because of her hair.

If Shizuru were looking for the prettiest girl in Mai Hime she'll pick Nao for sure. Maybe the one who should pick the flower in the garden is not Natsuki but Nao instead, then Mai Hime will have an inverted role between Nao and Natsuki. fufufu let Natsuki screwed like Nao before, and then Nao and Shizuru will have a lot of sex in the anime.

I'm so jealous of Shizuru-san's long hair that I can't imagine her cutting it >.<
But having it up makes her really wonderful!! Even the way she simply put it back in episode 13 is sooo sweet <3 Well, maybe it is because it is exceptionnal, but anyway... She's such a beautiful girl in general, so that makes her looking even better.

Personally, I like her long hair. I'd have to see other hairstyles to determine whether or not I'd like them.

It happens that I have a long hair, and I sometimes would want Shizuru onee-sama's hairstyle on me. I like her hairstyle the same. It really intrigues me how she fixes her hair up. :D

hm... I don'T know... actually I like her long hair. It's only the bangs I don'T really like.

She should let them grow out, get some more structure in her hair with light waves and pinned up... *.*

(I might draw some stuff later. atm I'm a bit too tired and off-guard to actually do something proper - oi, now I'm awake. Stupid birds dashing agianst windows *grmbl* )

actually, I agree with you on that point. Bangs make people look very young and childlike. Same goes to Shizuru. If she would let them grow out, her facial expression would be completely different, also, it would change her appearance a lot. She'd have a more serious touch.

As for combed to the side, fixed with a pin... also a good option, right?
