Yes, I do like both manga. Mostly in terms of character design, as I like Ken-etsu Sato style, but also the story has some good points. For some things the manga of Mai Otome is even better than the series... for example Nina's robe Black Smoke Chrysoberyl :D

LOL! You know, I usually tend to like characters everyone else hate or pairings none else bothers to ship. And with Nina it was love at first sight. ^^

Personally, I thought the Mai-Otome was waaaay better then the anime by a landslide. In terms of art and story line.

@ Lux: I wasn't aware Nina had a hate fanbase. I'm an Arika Yumemiya super fan myself and I don't hate Nina. Never once did I feel she needed to die for the greater good, she needed to be saved.

Hi, my name is Wendi. I'm a Russian-Corsican girl, living in the beautiful city of Miami. I kinda just figured I'd leave an introductory post to let you know I exist. ^^;

My first anime was Mai Hime back when I was 16, around that time I loved it and became obsessed with Natsuki. ^o^ My interest for Mai Otome became stronger to me and it surprises others. I love Natsuki as the Gakuencho. n_n
