The "yaoi haters/lovers" thread inspired me to create a poll on which subgenre in the anime pornography world is most popular on this forum :) As a free-spirited and open-minded forum, feel free to share! We won't laugh at you, whether you like hentai or futanari. Whatever's the placebo to your libido! XD I apologize if there's a thread like this Akira Okuzaki

I was planning on adding more lighter subgenres, such as harem, jonsei and slice of life, but I decided against it :3 They seem too light for this type of poll X'D

Yaoi/shounen-ai - Male-on-male/male-male romance

Yuri/shoujo-ai - Female-on-female/female-female romance

Hentai - Male-female porn (heterosexual porn)

Ecchi - Softcore hentai (panty shots, nudity, perversion, but no graphic nudity and intercourse)

Futanari - To put it lightly: Shemales Shiho Huit

Bakunyu - Hentai subgenre that mainly focuses on women with big breasts

Bara - Yaoi subgenre that mainly focuses on muscled males

Tentacles - ... Everyone knows this one

Other - Omorashi, lolicon, shotacon, anything that 4chan came up with (I really can't be bothered explaining the rest of the genres I haven't stated. Some are way more scarier than Tomoe's infantilism D: )

Side Yuri and also prefers Ecchi, although I appreciate all genres. As I have mentioned in the other thread, I haven't watched much yaoi, so my view of it seems to be limited. I did enjoy the yaoi material I've watched in the past. :)

I'm huge on yuri obviously, but I'm equally strong on Ecchi. Softcore works in anime tones down the rape storylines by a lot and had more couples that are actually in love, making it more relateable for me and my own relationship. The Futari Ecchi anime/manga is a perfect example.

Hentai comes third for the wackiness of it all, along with Futanari which is a guilty pleasure all the way.

Only one person shares my interest in ShizNat futa artwork sadly. XD

Well, My first choice was obviously yuri.
But I've traveled some paths mentioned in the poll. I tried Yaoi once, but it was not my cup of tea.

I've watched/read some hentai. In fact, some look quite good, and gotta admit that some characters sure have a bit of chemistry... also if it's animated, I prefer it if it's not too hard core.

Ecchi is good too, I prefer this type of genre in manga.

And futanari is my guilty pleasure. I happen to own a quite interesting ShizuNatsu (Otome Universe) Futanari doujinshi. And divineFumi! is it hawt. *3*
Also I happen to enjoy futanari FLight. :3

Hentai and Ecchi. I love heterosexual pairings the best since I guess it relates to me more (and in turn, I can relate to it).

That doesn't mean I hate Yuri or Yaoi or whatever floats another person's loveboat. In fact, Yuri is awesome + hawt and Yaoi is interesting in its own way.
