Gokujou Drops manga

I LOVE THIS MANGA! I read it a while ago, and I've forgotten most of the plot, but from what I remember I absolutely adored it! I was actually thinking about making a post for it a few days ago. :3

I'm a big stickler for art, and a bad art style can turn me off, but Gakujou Drops is drawn so beautifully. I would buy art from Mikuni Hajime and cherish it forever. *cuddles*

Yeah, with how cutsey it seems at first it took me by surprise when the first smut scene happened. She drew it magnificently, so I have no complaints at all, and it was the right amount of sexy and adorable that it great to see in a shoujo manga.

Read this one. I really liked it and I had kinda hoped it would continue or at least have an epilogue that tells of Komari and Yukio's life afterwards.

I remember reading this! I liked it enough to continue to the end.

There's an author on ff.net with the penname ChessMix. She wrote a fanfic that made Gokujou Drops work in HiME-verse. Though, obviously, more silly and the plot is slightly different... but within the same premise. :3

I read this one a while back. Can't say I really liked it. =/ It wasn't the characters, but maybe how the story planned out? Or how their relationship was displayed. Can't think of the right words. I mean, I like smut smut too, but I guess not as much as the next person? >_<

Sorry, I'm not good in describing my feelings about stuff like manga or anime on a forum post and am much easier one-on-one chatting. XD;

Hm... I'll take a stab at trying to guess what you're trying to convey.

It's not that you didn't like the relationship or the characters, per se... you just didn't like how it was portrayed. Like, maybe they should have added more depth, or more emotions... or something more to make it work better? The smut in the story was good and all, but you would have preferred it to be little less smutty and a little more... sweet? Maybe?

I love this manga. I actually re-read it for inspiration (that failed but I still got yuri...).
The whole childhood thing was adorable in my eyes *-*
