I go to school... I enjoy going to school, meeting my friends everyday from Monday - Saturday (Saturday in my school is spent for Citizen's Army Training); seeing my "cool" and "super boring" teachers make their lectures in front of our almost sleeping class; seeing books from the library; making fun out of my own classmates; and roaming around the campus during lunch breaks.
School's fun.
School's fun.

Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
Last year of Secondary school for me, and I chose the crappest lessons I think XDD Art, Higher ICT and a Creative and Media Diploma were my choices...along with the (unfortunately) necessary Maths, English, Science Sociology/Religion and Sport....I already have a place at college to do a media course and photography..and I already dread it @____@
I screw around too much in lessons to get any work done (drawing is my main vice...so is listening to my iPod...)

Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
Luckily school (university in my case) is behind me! I like to work so much more :)
For the company where I work I organize events like congresses or other exhausting things like these, and sometimes I have to travel abroad to participate to trade shows. It's not a bad job, I hate to wake up early to catch planes, though

You're lucky to be able to travel often. Traveling used to come out of my own pocket. Okay, maybe it will in the future, but if I become more successful with my career job, my flights will be paid for. :3
Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
Ahah, I used to think that too but, believe me, I found out that when you have to travel for work is not really funny XD
I've been in nice cities with no possibility to visit them because of the opening hours of those fairs. It depends on the job, though. Oh, but being paid for traveling is at least good to collect flight miles

Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
I... am in school forever XD
I'm an elementary teacher in my second year of teaching and I'm also attending grad school fulltime to get my masters. If all goes as planned, I'll have that in 2012, but I'll still be a teacher. So....school forever, unless I find a new career path. I love teaching, but I don't want to do it forever. I do know that I always want to work with children.

Plenty of time to jump at a new career opportunity, Rachy. You're a year younger than me and already settled with a career. I made the mistake of being lazy for a year and taking courses to take courses in college. Luckily I found something I'm passionate about.

Oh I know that. For now, teaching works for me, and that's what matters. If something else happens to come along and it's what I want to do, I'll take it. I've always been one to follow a loose plan. I knew what I wanted to do in a sense, but how I got to each part of the path was always up to how fate played out.

Without alll the teachers and learning, it IS fun :D
Alas, Kara-chan, :x all of the teachers and the learning makes school FUN. Think of it, neither you nor any of our friends would do prank things in a school for nothing.. Either that they wanted to go see the guidance counselor, get detention or see the mad face of your teachers. That's what always drives us students to do such things, am I right?
Without learning, what would we get from all the pranks without the lessons we get from it?

Even if it was a pain in the ass, too, it was so much fun! >__<
I actually miss school :/

Haha, I know! After all, I can thank my 10th grade English teacher for my love of angst and character torture. She was a really old woman who liked happy stuff so my brilliant idea was any time we had a writing assignment (usually poetry), I'd make it angsty and depression. Imagine my surprise when I found out I was good at it.
Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
I don't miss my fellow students from grade school. Except for my friends, everyone else was a pretentious, conniving snake.
Some of the teachers I do miss. Like Miss Angela. >o< I had the biggest crush on her and she knew it! My love for older women was a bit too obvious. :3
Sadly, she had to transfer after 3 years. *sigh*

Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
Seeing the unhappy teens walk by down my street towards school, I wonder if some of you have returned back yet. In my time, our Christmas vacation lasted from Dec 19th to Jan 2nd.
Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
NOPE! I go back the 5th :)

Yup, we returned on the 3rd. We always return the Monday after New Year. It's actually been a really good week so far!

Our schedule's really similar, we also resume classes after the first Sunday here, however, some schools returned today. I love the peeps here at this forum already! (Many of my classmates were really annoyed at this and it came out that we are only 16 students there out of 29! )

Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
I returned to work yesterday as mention in another fun thread. Didn't feel much different, but it was the first time in years that we were treated to a welcome-back Munchkin feast.
Later today I have a meeting to attend. Just economics babble on what we need to do/remember for 2011.

School is being the biggest bitch to use, what with all the rules on how we treat others and "respect and care for the community" getting completely outta hand XDDD srsly, its so contradicting, if we were to be accepting of everyone, we wouldnt be categorizing everything like "christian rights", "black rights", "gay rights" we aren't like that XD
Also, our school's no bullying policy is a load of bull >_> I got the crap kicked outta me again by a group of freaking year 7's O_O THIS IS SO HUMILITATING D| I plan to set fire to all the desks in the school on my last day ^^

The world is pretty ugly, Freek. Ignore the patronizing that your school is pushing onto you and look out for yourself.
Re: JOBS/SCHOOL ~.~
