:D So you basically like yuri or anime with yuri themes. I already expressed my love for Mai-Otome and K-On! Strawberry Panic is so sweet!More forward than say...Maria-sama ga Miteru. :)

I never read the Strawberry Panic manga, it's on my to-read list. I recently purchased the complete manga collection, which supposedly includes "TWO ALL-NEW CHAPTERS". O_O ZOMG!

Good luck getting the light novels. You can get the first one easily, but the second one is rare. Like...you'll pay over $100 rare for it, no lie.

the manga is amazing, it is so beautifully drawn...I WAS SO DEPRESSED WHEN IT GOT TO THE LAST CHAPTER

So i went and found the anime adaptations.

Lol yes expensive...I think the cheapest you could get it last I looked was $118. It continually goes up. I think I got mine for $100. I had to have it because I love the Hikari/Amane moment in it.

Hmmmm, let's see. I haven't been watching anime that long, but here's my faves so far.

Serial Experiments Lain -whoa! WTF!....I like whoa and WTF
Simoun - epic...totally epic
El Cazador de la Bruja - this is like home cooking to me. It makes me feel good
Noir - much badassery and so damned moody. I also watched Madlax which also had amazing badass moments, but the story was such a charlie foxtrot that I just can't rate it as a fave. Plus, they killed my favorite character! gah!
Utena - story telling on crack. No better way to portray Freudian psychoanalysis of the adolescent mind! Ya got your id, ego, and superego all going at it.
Kurau - one of the absolute best anime I've watched ... until the final episode. When Kurau's pair finally arrives, it's the most touching scene I think I've ever watched in anime. But in the future, I stop watching at episode 18 with the chase/GPO arc is completed.

I'm watching Aria nao, but not marathoning it like I did most of the above. I also recently bought Haibane Renmei on a lark because someone told me that if I liked Lain, I'd probably also like Haibane Renmei because it was done by the same writer.

Once I finish those two, they may make it into my favorites list also.
