I'm...
What is your birth order?
First-Born Children
First-born children are often looked up to by others, and as a result, automatically take on a role of leadership. However, along with this leadership comes the pressure to succeed. Parents are often the most strict with first-born children, and expect them to "set an example" for younger siblings.
First-born children tend to...
Be perfectionists
Enjoy making other people happy
Be highly motivated to achieve success
Take on a leadership role
Be responsible
Feel jealous or neglected when younger siblings arrive as a result of no longer being the center of attention
Middle-Born Children
Middle-born children often tend to feel left out, as if they don’t have a “place” in the family. However, being “stuck in the middle” often results in these individuals being skilled at compromising and getting along with others.
Middle born children tend to...
Be more rebellious than their siblings
Adapt easily to any situation
Play the role of mediator, and prefer compromise to conflict
Develop skills or talents not shared by siblings- for example, if an older sibling is a star athlete, a middle born child may focus on music for their talent
Be the most varied of all of the birth positions – for example, he or she may be friendly and outgoing, or shy and quiet
Last-Born Children
Last-born children are often known as the “baby” of the family. Because they are used to having other people do things for them, they often have difficulty with making decisions and taking responsibility.
Last-born children tend to...
Be outgoing
Have the ability to “charm” others
Feel inferior to siblings
Be considered spoiled, demanding, or impatient
Develop abilities that older siblings don’t have (see Middle-born children)
Remain “The Baby” of the family- by expecting others to do things for them, make decisions, and take responsibility
Only Children
Only children tend to have a lot of the same characteristics as first-born children. As a result of gaining undivided attention from parents, only children are often considered to be self-centered. Because they never had to learn to share or overcome conflicts with brothers or sisters, they are often described as selfish and not easily forgiving of themselves or others.
Only children tend to...
Be well-organized, or perfectionists
Be comfortable with responsibility
Not take criticism well
Be comfortable with being the center of attention
Be responsible

I am actually a middle-born child, being 3rd out of 5 children. The description you have fits me, though I am not rebellious really. :)

Re: What is your birth order?
I'm the oldest of two, and I'm exactly as described. Except I don't feel jealous.. generally just neglected...
Re: What is your birth order?
I'm unfortunately the youngest. Honestly, being the baby in the family REALLY sucks >_>
Re: What is your birth order?
I'm the oldest and that really sucks -__-" but exept for the neglected and jealous part the rest does not fit, the middle born one described me better :p

Re: What is your birth order?
I'm a firstborn child, but sometimes I wish I had an older sibling. Most of that firstborn stuff fits me, but one or two of the traits don't.

Re: What is your birth order?
I'm the only child. It's better that way because siblings can be unpredictable people as they grow. I'm happy to be spared from that. :)
Re: What is your birth order?
I'm the second youngest and I wished I was an only child when all 6 of us lived in the same house, sure would have made life easier XD We all get on great now though :3Luu Sky Sapphire wrote:I'm the only child. I guess the middle traits match me...kinda >.>

Re: What is your birth order?
I guess being the middle child is the best one can be? Since people say being the oldest or being the youngest suck But in my family, I wish I was the older one Being the black sheep really sucks!
Re: What is your birth order?
Being a "lone wolf" character archetype does that. You and the British Kaichou have something in common. :3Nymphetamine wrote:I guess being the middle child is the best one can be? Re: What is your birth order?
So, I'm a charmer, huh?
Er...anyway, yeah, I'm the youngest. Although I seem to have this "middle child syndrome" that doesn't seem to exist (including the imaginary middle child). *real life Akari*
: Akarin~
I can't say the traits go with me. Putting it simply, I don't really blow a fuse easily due to impatience and I kinda like money so...I'm extremely cheap I don't like the idea of being spoiled (why not get something worthwhile?). Also, I don't rely rely on others considering that they're never home anyways and I always did things I could on my own. For the whole "inferiority" thing I was told since the beginning of my currently short life that I'd remain "equal" to my sibling, so not really inferior either. One last thing, I'm a human hermit crab so not outgoing (until familiar...). ;—;

Nope, don't care what the circumstances are. You are no Akarin, Ayano-chan.

Re: What is your birth order?
I was an only child... but now that I have a little sister, that means I'm already the first-born.
Honestly, most of the first-born and the only-child description fits me well. Uh, maybe except the "responsible" part. Still not responsible much on my part.

You're only 16 years old. You should be somewhat responsible. XD Enjoy being a kid/young teen while you can! Do something outrageous! haha! The Fire Stirring Ruby wrote:I was an only child... but now that I have a little sister, that means I'm already the first-born.

XD Ruby-chan is kind of uke though, she may not jump out of planes, swim with Piranhas and battle Somali Pirates any time soon.shezaei-neko wrote:Truly, truly, truly outrageous!! :3
