At least there isn't many haters for the Mai Otome ps2 game compared to coupling. That game looks awesome, but it's in Japanese... :scratch:

It's a very good game. O_o Better than any of that DBZ Budokai trash. What amazes me if that the DBZ fandom can play the same game every year. Butou Shi on the other hand is unique and very creative with it's alternative dialogue before a Dance Battle. The only thing it's missing is a larger roster of characters. Maria, Una, Rosalie, Chie, Aswald Midori and so many others needed to be in there.shezaei-neko wrote:

Miss Maria would have been a better hidden character. Also Midori.
It's strange that those were not included, since the game's timelime is the one of the t.v. series.
Due to this, we couldn't see Otome Chie, much less your precious Una.

But that doesn't mean they couldn't have made a sequel of some sort.
After all, there are many japanese RPGs based on series, which they basically turn the series into the game.
Imagine you playing as Arika fighting the tugs in the bus. Or Chie fighting the terrorists to save Arika.
Or playing as Lena, being helped by Bruce to rescue Sifr!!
Those would have been nice games.
Ans you can't forget the anime scenes in between!

Haha, those terrorists would be a cutscene at best. The real fighting would take place after that with Yuna's Uber-SLAVES. I'd play that game religiously. If it were in the works, I'd imagine a strictly PS4 release. Just like Sunrise did with the Escaflowne game. It was BAD, but it have extra scenes that were exclusive of the game. Just for it, it was worth it.

The Otome game looks so cool, but it sucks because it doesn't have an English option or even just with subtitles.. Other than that... sweet.. lol

Yeah lol I don't hold it against the game and hopefully others don't too. Hopefully someday they will make a new game for Japan and the US. I think its safe to say that the fans wouldn't mind it especially now that the newer games are region free and the ps4 is coming out in Dec. I want a RPG Mai Hime Destiny game for the ps4! =-D

*laughs* The worst I've heard about the game is that the graphics aren't up to date. Not unique about that one. I'd love an RPG for Mai-HiME Destiny too, or this massive crossover with HiME and Otome ala Namco X Capcom. I don't want to smash your hopes but sadly, even if the Hime anime has been licensed in the US, that doesn't mean a game could make it.
After all, most of the times, Japanese companies only release this game to their fellas. Even if there are international fans, they don't usually takes us into consideration... :'3
