Sudden Realizations for Mai-HiME

Pretty straightforward...just sudden realizations about Mai Hime.

So I was writing, and I was thinking all Mai Hime, and I realized a few things like:

1) How did Nao not get cut when she licked her element? I mean, that things cuts through steal, brick, and whatnot. Just one touch and you'd get cut.

2) How did Takeda not go to the infirmary for blood loss? He bled fountains. There's no possible way he didn't pass out or something...although this is the anime world. Just look at Chitose...then again she went to the hospital once (when they were fake couples and she had a blood pack with Akari, first season).

3) Did Mai or Haruka have severe back pain or something?...Nobody can have boobs as big as those without having back problems. They have to be damn heavy!

4) Shiho....how were you not put in a mental institution or at least thrown (and tied up along with a duck taped mouth) into a janitors closet for being annoying?

5) Oh. Midori how did people believe you were 17? I will never accept that.

6) What the hell did they do with all those eggs Mikoto used? That's a waste if they threw them out.

7) Smith, what the hell is wrong with your nose (sorry if someone likes his nose)?

That's just a few realization I could think of at the moment. So...so say some of yours? Comment on others?

Probably because even if somebody had a nose fetish his nose wouldn't fall in anyone's category. It's just...unnatural(ly big). D:

I concur... And to go along with your Nao statement she kinda licked the side of it..maybe? But I do agree with you. She should have at LEAST gotten a paper/claw cut from those damn things :lol:

Aside from maybe Sister Yukariko in one of the next episode previews, were there any characters in the show that actually bought that?

You may already know this but Midori's voice actress is a member of the "Cult of Seventeen Year Olds" (voice actresses who claim they're seventeen) that Sister Yukariko's voice actress founded.

8.) Why didn't Chie just confess her feelings for Mai? Seriously, the girl never struck me as heterosexual and her and Aoi are legit elsewhere (*cough* Mai-Otome *cough*). Her interest in Mai is something to create fantasies around~

I've grown to appreciate the idea of Chie x Mai over the weekend. :3 Will talk about their in greater detail when I return.

Probably because it'd cause Natsuki's fan to nosebleed and other things.
or
Perhaps they'd have to censor what Shizuru did to Natsuki then and they just didn't want to waste a perfectly good scene by doing so.

Speaking of which, I kinda wanted that battle damaged for Natsuki at some point during her fight with Shizuru. At that point in the duel, fanservice couldn't damage the beautiful scene that was about to shine light.

Well, it was a fight to Natsuki since she knew in the first place what she'd do. While if you looked at Shizuru's perspective, she never intended to hurt Natsuki. So, even if Natsuki hadn't shot Kiyohime eventually they'd have to make a compromise. As in killing their Child's or Children (not sure how you'd say that...). Basically they'd still end up in the same situation (unless they change what Natsuki did).

Brainwashing seems a bit irrelevant to the HiME powers unless it had to do with First District itself. Like when they took the people from the bus accident and made them forget what happened (hypothesized). But I think Fumi would politely tell them to leave instead, or say some other time, if she sent them away (or sent them to the hypnosis place) there could have been a rumor or something. Maybe just suspicion would spread about the Director or Fuuka itself.
