Blood-C is an indirect (in many ways) sequel to Blood+ to those of you who have watched it already.

Presenting: Blood-C 2011511143041624

It follows the story of Kisaragi Saya, a priestess at a local village fighting monsters known as furukimonos or chiropteran from Blood+. Saya knows nothing of her past, except that her mother was an excellent priestess and his father, Tadayoshi Kisaragi, a swordsman who taught Saya the "art of the sword". She meets several friends and new foes, and an unexpected ending to note too.

It's a good anime to watch if you like blood-spilling scenes. Most of the scenes are censored, especially of the final episode.

The series is collaborated between the Production I.G. and CLAMP and is the second of the Blood franchise. A movie, Blood-C: The Last Dark, will be released in June 6th in Japanese theaters. The movie is a prequel to the anime series, seeing from its trailer.

Mizuki Nana voices and sings, summary? LOVE IT!!! It's much tamer compared to its predecessor though, Blood + and the original Blood.

Ever watch two of Bee-Train's greatest classics, Noir and Madlax? Take the steady pacing of both, with a lot of influence from horror mystery and action sequences from Blood+ and you get this. The animation is incredibly well done for the series, and the amount of blood splatter is staggering. I've only seen the first two episodes so far and it's incredibly slow so far, hopefully it'll pick up in the upcoming episodes. Don't be offended though, Ruby, snail's pace is acceptable in the beginning. And judging by random videos of the series,, I'd consider starting a kill count for Saya. :)

It's okay!

I already finished the series, and it has eventually won my heart. The scenes were perfect, and who knew that he was working behind the scenes? Amazing storyline from CLAMP, although they could've made some answers to several questions I have in mind (e.g. Where's Hagi, Kai and Diva's daughters; what happened to Nathan and the Red Shield).

"He" eh? :) Naughty girl giving me spoilers! Don't worry, I'll most likely have a different opinion upon finishing the series. Shizuru Fujino

After watching the trailer, and the 8-mins preview of the Movie, I am certain that the Movie version is much much better than the anime version.

Better animations and effects, with a much better story pacing x) there's no chance of the audience falling asleep while watching that's for sure *is guilty of falling asleep while watching the anime orz

I still need to watch this series.
But anything that CLAMP does it's a plus to me.
I think I'll enjoy it. :)

The movie is actually a prequel to the whole animation series. Wink No doubt about it, the movie had the plus sides.

Yes, anything that CLAMP does is good. :) However, might I give a fair warning... There are gruesome scenes, especially at the last episode.

I just got into this series, it combines the CLAMP style with Blood the Last Vampire Mythos, I love it
