After signing up over at Mai Universe, someone was kind enough to inform me that a much more active group of people inhabited this forum - and so, here I am.

For the time being, I'll simply post the introductory questionnaire from my MU post.

What is your preferred name?
Nicole or BubuzukeOnna are equally acceptable, I don't usually like shortenings of my given name (Nicole).

Where are you from?
Originally from Arizona, though my last US residence was California. I'm currently inhabiting Mexico City.

How old are you?
29

How did you discover the Mai franchise?
Randomly, for the most part. I tried to watch Mai-HiME twice, dropped it twice, saw a ShizNat AMV, decided to start with Otome (loved it) and then pushed my way through HiME and loved it as well.

What Mai pairings do you support?
I'm not much of a hater, so I'm open to all sorts of pairings if done well. I'm primarily a ShizNat shipper, but recently some authors have been sweetening me on HaruZuke.

Of the Mai series, which if your favourite and why?
I think I enjoy them equally, and for different reasons. I love the relationships in the HiME series. In Otome I enjoyed the themes and the over-all story flowed much better in my opinion.

What other fandoms are you a part of?
For Anime - NANA and LOGH are the shows that had characters that really stuck with me on an emotional level.

Outside of Anime- Game of Thrones (ASOIAF), Avatar (The Azula Show, for me), and Xena.

I like characters more often than series as a whole, usually I tend to "stan" yangire, villains, anti-heroes, and the socially awkward

Do you write, draw, make videos etc? (List your ff.net, dA, youtube etc. accounts if you would like!)

You're not the only one, my writing isn't well received by any means - as you'll see from my review counts xD By now I need to revamp everything, most of them are from '07 (and earlier, from LJ).
